Allendale True Value

We brought our lawn mower in to be repaired on a Saturday and were told it would be looked at MondayCome to find out, the mechanic wasn't even there that whole week so it wasn't looked at until the next week! Then, after another two weeks of hearing nothing from them, we called and found out that they had not even started on the repair, they were still diagnosing and figuring out what part was neededFinally, after a month of being there it was "fixed"The one thing they did do was give us the part at their priceAfter we brought it home, and used it once, we found out the problem was NOT fixedWe called True Value and spoke with the service managerOur request was that they come and pick the mower up, fix it (like it should have been already) and bring the mower back to us for no charge to usAfter all, it wasn't our fault the mower was not fixed after a month of being without it and having it repairedAfter talking it over, the service manager called us back and told us the best they could do was come pick it up and drop it back off for half the price they would normally charge and that we would still have to pay for the repair if it came back non-related to the firstThis is UNACCEPTABLE because we spent our time and gas the first time, expecting things to be done right and then we were expected to either do that again, or pay them to come fix their overlooking/failure to repair correctlyWe were told this was the best they could doWould NOT recommend taking any of your equipment there! Very bad experienceIf they expect to keep their customers coming back, they better figure out that the "best" they can do is NOT the bestTry again True Value
