paid in full for driveway work, work has not been completed. Owner refuses to return calls, doesn't come when he says. Waiting since March for work.Driveway finally done in May, but cracked in several areas. [redacted] Allen saw this, and was coming after July 4. It is now August 13, he was supposed to come Aug 11, never came, never called. He first agreed to do the job in March, due to weather it couldn't be done until late April. He doesn't answer my calls, or messages. It took from April to late May for him to correct one item. Now I'm waiting for him to correct cracks that appeared two months after job complete. He came and said he would be back the week after July 4. He still hasn't come back. He was paid in full when original work was done, but hasn't come back to repair cracks.Desired SettlementI just want him to fix what he said he would fix. It really isn't that hard. It's two cracks.Thank you for addressing this matter in a very timely manner. Good news, Allen's Concrete is here fixing my driveway as I type. Hopefully this will be my last dealings with this company, as I would NOT recommend them to anyone. Hopefully they will fix the driveway correctly. Again, thank you so much.

Hired to construct a a concrete pool deck around an unground pool. The finished product cracked within 1 week and the company will not return calls.On 08/08/2014, [redacted]'s Concrete arrived at our house to construct a concrete pool deck around our inground pool. When the project was close to complete, I paid the owner, [redacted], the full amount of the quoted price in cash. He took the money and left the property. His workers essentially stopped all clean up and soon departed as well, leaving mounds of concrete in the yard and metal bands from the forms scattered all over the project area.On 08/13, we noticed one section of concrete that had not dried to the same color as the rest of the work. On 08/15, we noticed a four-foot crack in the concrete at the point of discoloration.I attempted to contact [redacted] by phone on 08/18, 08/19, and 08/20, finally getting a call back on 08/20. At that time, Mr. [redacted] stated he was working out of town and would come to my house to fix the problem early in the week of 08/25. On 08/27, 08/28, 08/29, 09/02, 09/03 and 09/04 I attempted to contact [redacted] again, with no success. I left voice messages each time explaining my concerns and requesting a call back. To this date, Mr. [redacted] has not contacted me or come to repair the defective work done by his company.On 09/09, I had another concrete construction contractor look at the problem and he indicated it was clear that Mr. [redacted]'s crew knew it wasn't right when they left but instead tried to shortcut it with a patch. This second contractor also pointed out numerous other faults in the work and stated that the entire project needed to be removed and re-done, as it would never be correct. Specifically, all of the expansion joints were placed too far apart to effectively reduce the potential for additional cracks across the surface.Desired SettlementI want a refund of the amount paid so that we can hire a dependable contractor to make things right. At this point I have zero confidence that Mr.[redacted] and his company will correctly repair the mistakes they made and feel that any work done will be done so with a grievance towards us. I base this assertion on the fact that he will not even return my calls.Business Response According to the business, they resolved the complaint a couple of weeks ago.
