When Allens is called out by a police department to tow a car we always inform the driver, their car may be towed anywhere they like, They will obviously be responsible to pay for the service when we get to their destination.customers are
welcome to ride with the tow driver if they choose and she would be given an opportunity to take anything they choose with her vehicle from the accident scene ,*** either did not indicate a destination to tow her vehicle or simply did not want to pay for the services provided.Her vehicle in this case was towed to our lot.We do ask that first days fee's are paid prior to removing personals once the vehicle is in our lot and there are charges due against it.our website says:requirements to release a vehicle are:registered owner with proof of ins.Obviously there are fees associated with providing this service,to assume this is free is unrealistic,If an owner provides us full coverage insurance info they are welcome to remove their personals and an insurance company will take care of the fees.When you make the decision to have liability only coverage you are are accepting the responsibility of any and all charges resulting from a motor vehicle accident.We have spoken to *** several times and she has been notified twice by mail and to date has chosen not to assume responsibility for fees associated with the services provided in a timely manner,therefor pursuant to MN state statue the vehicle was set to be junked or disposed as of 1/17/*** has had days to do something about her car and personal belongings.She indicated to me "I'm not paying you anything"obviously she thinks we should provide free services to stranded motorists which simply is not possible or reasonable

***, On 7-23-we were called by the savage police department@ 4:15am to remove a car in violation of the city ordinanceThe lot is very well marked "No parking 2am-6am and no parking sundays 2am-2pm" there are signs in this small lot stating that, the complainant said "there was a white truck
blocking the sign" what about the other 8? he also claim's that we may be illegally overcharging that is falseThe customer was charged the agreed upon and contracted rate with the city of savage.MN state statue makes no statement on cost besides cities of mpls and stpaulOur rates are on par with ? other local cities impounded vehiclesComplainant has made and misleading claims on social media and we intend to seek legal remedy for thisObviously he is angry,but he is the only one to blame.Its common sense to check the surrounding area and read the signs when parking in any lot or property that you are not familiar with ? -- Thank you, ?
