Allergy & Asthma Prevention Center Reviews (1)

Review: I called the office to request my son's records be sent from their office to another office in Idaho. The first time I called, I had them fax a release to me and then I faxed it back. I called a second time to confirm that they had received the fax and when I was in the middle of asking her, the lady ([redacted]) rudely interrupted me and started yelling at me telling me that I had sent the fax to their phone 19 times within the last hour. I told her it must have been a different person because I had only faxed something once within the last five minutes. Then she continued to yell at me telling me how annoying it was to have it keep calling their phone line. So when I could speak, I told her that her behavior was unacceptable and that no one should be treated like that especially a patient. I asked her if she received and she answered rudely YES. Then hung up the phone. So I called back and got another lady on the phone and requested the name of the lady who I just spoke with and she said [redacted] and I said okay I would like to talk to the office manager and she said She is the office manager. I said I would like to talk to the Dr. about this situation and she explained that she couldn't interrupt the Dr. because he was with patients and that the doctor won't talk to me regarding this situation. I left my name and number to have the dr call me when he was free and then asked to speak with [redacted] again. [redacted] got on the phone and still being very rude and short and snappy. I explained that I needed talk to the dr about this situation and she said No. He will not talk to you. He's with patients. I said have him call me when hes free. I don't appreciate being treated like that and she said well what do you want me to do about it? I said I need to talk to the dr soon. Then she said something about being a B word. I was very offended and asked her if she really just called me that. She said we will have the dr call you and basically that was the end of that. A few days later I called back to leave another message with the nice receptionist ([redacted]?) because I had not gotten a call. She said she'll take down my information and have the dr call me. All this started on May 6th and I have not yet received a call.Desired Settlement: I want to let the Dr know what is going on in his front office. He's most likely not aware of how his office manager treated me and will not until someone complains. He needs to educate his office manager on respect and customer service to his patients.

RE: [redacted]

Revdex.com Complaint ID [redacted] ( [redacted])

Dear Ms. [redacted]:

I am responding to your recent letter from Ms. [redacted]. On May 6th, my employee did tell me of an extremely upsetting conversation from Ms. [redacted]. Ms [redacted] did call and request records for her son, let us just say that the story differs greatly. I can sincerely tell you that my staff has the upmost respect and compassion for our patients, and I find it particularly hard to believe that this conversation ever took place. The employee who did speak with Ms. [redacted] was not the office manager.

We have mailed her son's records as requested and do consider the matter closed. I do not know of any physician's office where staff members would ever be purposefully rude or disrespectful. Our staff know our patients all deserve kindness and compassionate service no matter how badly our day is going or how disrespectfully we are treated. Our patient's deserve the most courteous attention we can give, and letters like the one from Ms. [redacted] are disappointing at best.

Respectfully,

Medical Administrator

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

As far as how the office handled it, wouldn't you think if the office were as respectful and nice as they wrote in the letter that I would be going to the Revdex.com to make a complaint? They are trying to cover up [redacted]'s horrible attitude and deny the way she handled the call. I'm not okay with the response and the lieing. I will not be the bad person in this situation. I request that [redacted] and the doctor call me and would like her to admit her faults and have a sincere apology. Until then, this is not resolved.

Regards,
