I have not heard from Dr. [redacted] or his office as his reply stated. I did receive another bill requesting more money, but no contact has been made to discuss this.

Review: I was sent to Allergy Partners from my regular Dr. to have an allergy test done to see if I was allergic to eggs. Once I arrived, I paid my "specialist" co-pay of $40.00 and thought that was pretty steep just to find out if I'm allergic to eggs, but oh well. I was placed back in the room and the Dr. came in and asked why I was there. I told him to be tested for eggs. He said "the test to find out if you are allergic to eggs is the same test to find out all allergies. There is no difference. It takes the same amount of time. Would you like to find out what else you are allergic to at the same time?" I said, "sure, if there is no difference, why not?" Well, good news...turns out... I am allergic to nothing. Bad news... I got hit with a bill that the Allergy Partners charged me $1200.00 for "full panel" testing! I tried to call and discuss this and the 'manager' was very rude, unhelpful. Said it is up to me to know what I am having done, how much it cost and what I will be responsible for. I asked to speak to the Dr. and she said he doesn't talk to patients. I guess he doesn't!! So, I am filing an appeal with my insurance. Some one needs to stop these crooks!!Desired Settlement: My insurance has already paid them an astronimical fee for the small services they provided. My bill needs to be totally written off as paid in full. I do not need to give them one penny more. They should be turned into health fraud, of which I am looking into.
