I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I want to thank Valley Roofing for their prompt response to my complaint. Unfortunately a company is tainted due to a few or even one unprofessional/fraudulent employee. I only wish that it couldn't been resolved initially. I wouldn't have gone through the panic and stress of being threatened. Thank you again.

Since the LOA (Letter of Authorization) was not clear/understood to the “customer” by the original sales agent he has been disciplined and corrected. We had already decided not to seek recourse...
that is rightfully ours stated in the LOA because things were possibly unclear to this customer. One of the great things about MVR (McAllen Valley Roofing Co. LLC) is that if we are wrong we will seek to improve. We want to be perfect and are aggressively working in that direction to get there. Why the L.O.A.: It is our experience that some people, some insurance companies and some “roofers” don’t realize that they might be to committing borderline insurance fraud. These individuals will call roofing companies out for a free inspection, get bids, then only do partial work after their insurance company has paid for all the work to be completed. “Roofers” sometimes go along with the process and get paid “under the table” but do a terrible job. They are then nowhere to be found when leaks/problems arise. Insurance companies then are not responsible for any quality of work performed. This is where McAllen Valley Roofing steps in ahead of the game and works for the Xactimate prices provided by Insurance carriers and help provide the best value. The Letter of Authorization simply spells out two important things. #1: By signing and initialing this document you are hiring us as your roofer. #2: By signing and initialing this document you are authorizing us to communicate (help) with the insurance claim repairs. #3: Work with the adjuster when they come for the inspection, have our accounting department handle all the confusing paperwork and answer all questions throughout the entire process for the customer. If we could do all this for you at just the cost of the deductible, would you have it any other way? Plus, should the insurance company deny a full replacement this, one page, contract states, “If your insurance company denies the hail/wind damage claim; this agreement becomes null and void. This agreement is contingent based on full replacement only”. We had to develop this LOA in order that our company could continue to provide great service at a low cost for the customer and the insurance companies without being taken advantage of by either. McAllen Valley Roofing Co. has an amazing reputation for various reasons. 1. MVR builds excellent relationships with our customers who give great reviews and refer others in need. 2. MVR is known for quality service and honesty with insurance companies and their adjusters. 3. MVR has ongoing training with staff and labor crews as we work to perfect the business. 4. MVR stands by our products and warranties. We are responsive when you call. 5. MVR has a $5 million insurance liability policy to protect our customers from any claims. 6. MVR has 27 full time employees in our local office. 7. MVR is growing rapidly with satellite offices in Laredo and San Antonio. 8. MVR is regularly sub contracted by national roofing companies to take care of their warranty work. We go above and beyond in order that we may be the most trusted roofing company in Texas. It is our desire to always have clear lines of communication as we design and complete the best roof you have ever had.
