If there were any more damaged wood as defined as termite, dry rot or fungus damage, left on this home, at time of inspection, we would have reported it and made recommendations for its repair Again, This Is How We Make Money As A Termite Company!!A Termite company is not a remodel or restore company They are a repair company only calling out and repairing termite damage, dry rot and fungus damaged wood members....Not cracked, separated or warped wood This is called in the industry as "weathered wood" As per the definitions of a wood destroying organism report: "A Wood Destroying Pest & Organism Inspection Report contains finding as to the presence or absence of wood destroying insects or organisms in visible and accessible areas on the date of inspection and contains our recommendations for correcting any infestations, infections, or conditions foundThe contents of the wood destroying pest & organism inspection report are governed by the structural pest control act and itsrules and regulations."We did, as a courtesy, send three men in the profession of wood conditions and damage, to this residence to meet the complainant Our inspector with years of experience solely inspecting residential properties for termites and wood destroying organisms, a general contractor with years experience in repairs of wood and wood members and thirdly, the owner of the company with years inspection and job supervision Note: The complainant did not show up to the appointment All professionals climbed up a ladder onto the roof and inspected the area and concluded that it was "weathered wood" that the complainant is claiming as "dry rot or "warping" woodPlease have the Revdex.com contact us immediately Do not report this on our company as this is not our customer and since we did more then our due deligence to make this complainant understand the scope of our work.Sincerely,***-Owner

In no way do I believe this customer to be correct.  He is coming from an inexperienced position.  If I decided to fight this in court, I am assured that I would prevail.  For the sake of peace and because my time is worth more then this, I am willing to send this party a check for $250.00.  Prior to completing this disbursement, I will have to have the complainant sign a release.

Review: Company conducted termite and wood rot inspection and repair as part of home inspection.Company missed several warped and rotted pieces of wood on house that home owners became aware of after they took possession of the house.Company came out for re-inspection after complaint was made, but claim rotted and warped wood pieces didnt qualify. Claims dont make sense since some wood immediately adjacent was partially replaced. No notifications at time of original inspections were made to homeowners that they were not covering severely pieces of rotted wood that was already warping leaving gap of more than one inch from house. After multiple inquiries, company has not responded in writing or otherwise as to why they are not covering our claim.Desired Settlement: We seek complete wood repair.
