I paid over $8000.00 for Homeowners Insurance. A representative of the company came out and took pictures of repairs that we being done on the property. When the repairs were finished I was instructed to send pictures of the finished repairs. I sent them. Now they have some sort of hold or memo on my insurance and will not tell me why or what exactly it is. They are now asking for pictures of 2 sides of my home. They refuse to tell me why. I need to know if my home is insured or if there is some sort of rider or disclaimer to my policy. If so I need to obtain insurance elsewhere.

We have been in contact with this client since the complaint was filed.
*** insurance company performed a routine inspection to check the overall condition of the property. Upon review of the inspection, *** insurance company found that there were concerns with the property. As a result, the carrier removed coverage for liability and medical payments because the inspection showed that there were undisclosed bathroom renovations going on along with appliances in the yard. The insurance company also amended the policy to exclude coverage for non-weather related water losses because there was evidence of a leaking sink.
We contacted *** shortly after the insurance company notified us that coverage was amended and that there were concerns with the property that needed to be addressed. *** provided us proof (photos) that renovations were complete and that the appliances in the yard were removed. However, the photos she sent displayed a shopping cart and excessive debris in her yard. When underwriting received those photos they declined to add liability and medical payments back on to her insurance policy until she provided proof that the debris was removed along with photos of all sides of her house. We notified *** of this but she said she was unable to provide us with additional photos due to personal reasons.
We have tried reach out to *** to follow up regarding her policy but have had to leave a voicemail.
Brad, at this office, was extremely helpful to me. He is knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. We talked for some time and gave me all options on different insurances with the absolute best quote for flood coverage. I think he is an asset to his company and would deal with him anytime!
