Not out of business. They called me today. The representative has an attitude. I wanted to take care of whatever it was they claim my husband had with them and she hung up on me .

Review: Called the business and spoke to the receptionist, [redacted]. Left a detailed message with specific instructions for [redacted] regarding my account. I expressed to [redacted] that I was sending a check for $45.00 and it was to be cashed on 3-18-2015 because my SSI check is directly deposited into my checking acct. on that specific day. [redacted] said she would give the message to [redacted] and she did, because I called back after the check was cased on 2/20/2015 and spoke to [redacted] and she read the notes that Ms. [redacted] had notated on the account. [redacted] said, 'She did not know why the accounting department went ahead and cased the check. The check was dated for 3/18/2015. Because AFM cashed the check I now have a -$143.56 in my account. Not knowing that they were going to cash the check/I had other checks hitting my account which I new about and had the money in my checking account to cover them, but I didn't have money in my account for the AFM check which wasn't supposed to be cased until 3/18/2015. So I have to pay $36.00 for the bank covering the check, $45.00 for the check and $7.00 a day for the negative balance, which means (every day I am charged $7.00 for continuous Overdraft Charges) so this means that this $45.00 check that they cased ahead of time will cost me about $245.00because they didn't follow instructions and because I trusted that they would follow what I asked of them.Trust goes both ways. If I had know that they would do this to me I surely would not hat sent them a check in good faith.mDesired Settlement: I have contacted AFM about 4 times. I have left 2 messages on [redacted] phone ext.# [redacted] as per [redacted] giving me his name and ext.#. I called back because [redacted] has yet to call me. It has been about two weeks and [redacted] said she would have someone to call me and she took down my phone number. No one has called yet.
