Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: 1) The guy moving the dresser was told to wait for his partner who was in charge and he did not wait2) This dresser was way to heavy for him to take down the ramp by himself3) He lost control before he even got off of the ramp because it was to heavy for him to control and he did not have the weight properly balanced which caused him to dump the load off of the ramp shy of the end4) They should have taken the drawers out before moving so as to lighten the load.5) This guy was mad all day that he was even having to work so late because he had plans and so he was in to big of a hurry to do the task properly.6) This guy was on his phone all day including seconds before rushing down the ramp so he was not focused on the job at hand and had already been talked to about his constant phone usage.7) The offer of cents a pound or $ compensation for my broken dresser which costs $to replace is NOT fair compensation for their destroying my dresser which is part of a bedroom setI can not afford to replace this dresser and I should not have toThey broke it and they need to pay for a new oneWe have already gave a response to this offer more then onceThe answer is no! cents a pound or $does not replace what they broke and we will not accept less then a full replacement dresser which costs $(we already went to the furniture store and got the estimate) 8) It does not matter how many times this careless employee has moved heavy dressers in the past, what matters is that he was careless this time, was in a hurry and refused to wait for his partner and ruined my dresserSincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: How many times can I say it, you offered to cents a pound using your insuranceThat does not pay for the dresser that you wrecked, not even closeYou bet I am mad, you were rude to *** on the phone! You bet I posted poor reviews for your company, after your company destroyed my dresser I sure don't want anyone else to have to deal with your shady companywhat were you expecting....flowers? You broke my dresser and were rude on the phone when *** tried to get this taken care of but no instead you want to fight the fact that you ruined my dresser instead of doing the right thing and paying for a replacementWhy do you keep mentioning this guys experience? It does not matter how long he has worked for you the fact is he failed to move my dresser! It is very odd also that the other employee apologized for your company sending him poor help before the dresser was even ruined, that tells a whole different tale then what your are spinning nowYour company has no morals, none! The fact is your company broke my dresser, he lost his load before he even got down the ramp because it was to heavy and he went to fast, those are the facts your company broke it and you should have to pay for a replacement not offer 60cents a pound...that is a slap in the face! Instead of being cheap you should have made this right from the beginning$Sincerely,*** ***

I can not afford to replace this dresser and I should not have to. They broke it and they need to pay for a new one. We have already gave a response to this offer more then once. The answer is no! 60 cents a pound or $120.00 does not replace what they broke and we will not accept less then a full replacement dresser which costs $1048.86 (we already went to the furniture store and got the estimate) 8) It does not matter how many times this careless employee has moved heavy dressers in the past, what matters is that he was careless this time, was in a hurry and  refused to wait for his partner and ruined my dresserSincerely,[redacted]

Good Morning. Please advise Mr. [redacted] and [redacted] that it is necessary to fill out the claim form in order to process this claim.
I was very apologetic when this first happened. I offered to pay what the insurance company would pay for the damage then submit it to Transguard with copy of our check for the payment. Considering how he has handled this with such anger by posting on Facebook, Yelp, not so nice letters, the threat of small claims, we are not as inclined.
Furthermore, we were very accommodating on this move. We do not like to start moves late in the afternoon and the client wanted to start at 2pm due to her schedule. Our crew arrives between 7am -8am every morning in the summer season since it is our busiest time. Of course, our crew wanted to be off early, it is difficult to put in a 10hour day, day in and day out. I suggested we start early and the job began at 12:30 instead. This employee has been with us for many years. He has great integrity and never calls in even when he should.
The $120.00 was based on 200 pounds which was suggested weight by Mrs. [redacted] at the time. I am forwarding all communications to our insurance company from now on and they can represent our company as they should. Thank you.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

We've had a couple of conversation with [redacted] regarding this matter. There is basic insurance coverage on the broken dresser which I explained to her and was waiting on her response.
Our crew was not being neglectful on this job. She even agreed that the guys "worked very hard". 250 pounds...

is nothing to move when using a dolly and it is done without damage quite often. Unfortunately, we can't always guarantee no damage and that's why we carry workers compensation and liability insurance.
We were very apologetic to Mrs. [redacted] and told her I would process this claim immediately. I've emailed back to them a letter and claim form to be filled out. I've asked her and Mr. [redacted] to return this immediately we can process.
I'm not sure how to give you copy of letter I sent to them. If you do not need copy of that, please advise me on how to do so. Thank you.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

My eighty-eight year old mother and I discovered that over $22,000 worth of belongings were stolen by Alliance Moving & Storage of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho crews during the following moves:

I. 1-bedrm. Apartment and small storage unit move on Nov. 8, 2013

II. Large Budget Storage unit on Nov. 11, 2013

The overwhelming grief and loss of jewelry, a blue fox coat, and several wardrobe boxes of better clothing and shoes has motivated me to warn others, especially seniors like us: NEVER entrust your move to this company. The Coeur d'Alene police are still investigating our open theft case. I hope this review will save someone from the trauma of a stealth robbery on their moving day. We are praying we can heal from this devastating violation of our lives.
