Review: In July 2013, I took a weekend trip to NYC from Boston and parked my car in the Alliance parking facility. It was left there for two nights. When I retrieved my car, there was damage on the right side of my bumper (a HOLE). I told the parking attendant that there was damage done to my vehicle and he proceeded to tell me that the damage was already there prior to my parking at the garage. As I am fully aware of what damage has been done to my car, I told him again, that it was NOT the case and I demanded that he file a claim so that I can discuss with the parking manager. This parking attendant was extremely rude and was screaming at me. I absolutely cannot believe the customer service at this garage. The following week, I called the garage and they directed me to talk to [redacted]. I called him various times throughout the course of SIX MONTHS. They told me I had two options: 1) They would fix my vehicle (free of charge) at one of their garages or 2) They would give me a $500 check. As I live out of the state, I cannot go to NYC to get my car fixed. Therefore, I opted for the $500 check. I signed an agreement with the garage to pay me $500 for the damage to my car. I have called the garage various times and talked to the accountant, [redacted]. She has told me that the check is in the hands of her boss and cannot be released until he approves it. I have waited for six months to obtain this settlement and I do not believe they are ever going to give me my check.Desired Settlement: I would like my $500 check sent to me ASAP, as agreed in a signed letter.

Review: EVERY TIME I park in this garage the same parking attendant overcharges me. Today I entered the lot shortly at around 10:15am. I had a 10:30am doctor's appointment. I went to leave the lot and the attendant charged me $12.00 which is the cost for over 4 hours. My visit was relatively short. I looked at the time on my phone & it was only 12:11pm. Obviously I was not there even close to 4 hours but the attendant told me I was! I no longer had the card that I was given when I entered as he had taken it to figure out the payment but I went back at him that I had a confirmed doctor's appointment for 10:30am & knew that I had left my home at 10:00am for the approximately 15 minute ride. He gave me $3.00 back & told me that I was 3 minutes over the two hours so my cost was $9.00. Then I asked for a receipt for my taxes & he gave me a printed receipt, which I believe was my actual receipt for $6.00. He then gave me someone else's receipt (a different transaction #) for $3.00! I have been overcharged at this same lot ever since a new company came in to run it at the end of last year. This is the third time that I have questioned this same attendant about an overcharge & the first time that I received any money back from him.Desired Settlement: After having this same experience 3 times, I believe that this attendant is a thief & is stealing from the individuals that patronize this parking garage. Many elderly people use this garage because it is attached to the building that their physician is in & it is convenient since many are utilizing walkers, canes & wheelchairs. The owner of this business needs to remedy the overcharging that is consistently happening. The attendant should be held accountable. Next time, I'll call the police.

Review: My car is parked at the garage in [redacted] daily. My car is inspected upon arrival for any visible scratches or dents by one of the employes while. On November [redacted], 2013, I inspected my car while at the garage and noticed a scratch on the left side rear number. I made a verbal notice to the workers; they acknowledged having scratched it and told me it would be repaired that same night. I also contacted the corporate office by email and phone. As explained by the [redacted] ([redacted]), they have an existing policy procedure to repair a car damaged by their workers. An incident form should have been provided to me and filled out. On November **, I asked the [redacted] for the form and he refused to provide one. I was also explained by the ** that the scratch in my car would be repaired by one of their body shops. As of this day nothing has been done to my car (no repairs, no indent forms have been provided and no response to my emails).Desired Settlement: I would like for my rear bumper to be brought back to the previous perfect condition in which it was prior to have been damaged by an Alliance employee

We are currently researching this claim to determine if the bumper has been repaired for [redacted]. If the bumper has not been repaired to date, we will have [redacted] bring the car to us for immediate repair.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The bumper was not repaired properly the first time ( a different color paint was used) Alliance was notified by email; Also I notified them and clarified through email many times of the cracked right tail light that occurred two months after the scratch. Because I was told that vehicle lights crack by them selves and no assistance was provided, I filed a claim in court. If they wish to paint the bumper with the proper Lexus color paint and repair the right tail light with a Lexus cover (that Alliance employees damaged and accepted liability for), then I will reconsider the current rejection.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved thanks to [redacted], Alliance **. It has been determined that employees that do not have a financial interest in the company will do the worst job possible and not provide any customer service as [redacted] does for Alliance. He denies ALL claims because he know not everyone will go to court, consumer affairs and Revdex.com. This information is all correct and true and should be published for the public so that they know how to handle incompetent people like [redacted] of Alliance Parking.

Sincerely,

Review: On Mon ** June I purchased a parking pass on line for the next day from Alliance Parking for their garage located at [redacted]., New York. When I arrived at the garage at about 9:40am the next day (Tues ** June) I was told that the underground garage was full & that I could not park there. I was told to call ###-###-####. I did call that number &

ultimately someone (Mara R[redacted] from [redacted]) called me back. In the mean time I had found alternate parking that in the end cost me $65. [redacted] (I don't know how Alliance & [redacted] are connected) did refund my $24 original parking fee but I asked to be reimbursed for the $65 that it cost me. I was told by Mara R[redacted] to call Elaine @ ###-###-#### and [redacted]. I did so and asked to be reimbursed for the $65. I was told no. I believe that BOTH parking entities breached a contract with me & that they should pay at least the $65 that it cost me for alternate parking.Desired Settlement: For one of the two parking companies named , Alliance Parking Services or [redacted] to send me a check for $65

Review: Dear Revdex.com:I would like to make a complaint on a parking lot named "[redacted]". I started my monthly parking there since January of 2014. The parking lot is located at [redacted]. I only use my car once every two weeks, Typically, I pick up the car on Sunday evening, use it that night with my family and return it at night. Usually, the attendant drive the car in and out, we are not allowed to drive in ourselves. Everything goes okay until last Sunday. As always, I called the parking lot and have them take the car out. When I got there at 7 PM, I found the right side front wheel had a flat tire, and there were some scratches on the body near the front tire. I immediately notify the attendant, he acknowledged he saw the flat tire also but did not know what and how it happened. Since the car was in perfect condition when I drove back to the garage two weeks ago, and I did not use the car outside the garage since, the only people who have access to my car (a Nissan compact) are the garage attendants, because they need to move the car around inside the garage to accommodate temp parking cars. who else could it be? So I called the [redacted] from the garage, he told me he will investigate, Monday, he said no answer yet, Tuesday, I called again, the [redacted] who refused to give me his name (his phone # is ###-###-####) told me bluntly that the garage people denied any wrong doing and he cannot be responsible, he even implied that I did it myself. This is unbelievable, this is a garage with a valet service, no car [redacted] could walk inside and move his car. My question is who else would hit my car so hard, caused a scratch and a flat tire? The garage is the only party that should be responsible for the damage because I am paying monthly parking fee for a safe guard there. Now he not only denied it and also refused to give me his name. I couldn't get the name of the garage owner, but I know they are listed on the internet through a parking website named "[redacted]". Thanks for your attention.Desired Settlement: change a new tire at least and apologize

Review: I used to park my car at Alliance Eton Parking at [redacted]. I was told when I initially signed on that any damages to the car would be fixed so long as I brought them to the attention of the staff before leaving the garage. I had done so and my damages were never repaired. I was told that "the damage is too small to touch up". One month into my stay at the garage, the management had apparently changed --same [redacted]s, new supervisor-- and I was told by the new management that they are not responsible for bumper damage even though the damage occurred prior to the management change. The damage included 4 nicks in my bumper that clearly resemble 2 pairs of screws from a license plate frame of another car and a scratch on the front grill that is clearly from a trailer hitch backing into the grill. I reported this to the managing supervisor who told me they did not do this.I fully understand that at this point it is merely my word against theirs, but this car, as I told them, goes from the garage to a driveway in the suburbs and back to the garage. It is never parked on the street. I got a phone call back from the [redacted] a few minutes after speaking with the supervisor saying using swear words and telling me "you think you can take advantage of [redacted] (the supervisor I spoke with) because he doesn't speak english but you can't take advantage of me". I could not get a word in edge-wise because he was too busy yelling.Upon doing some research and speaking with other account holders, I saw that other people who kept there cars there were having similar issues. Their cars were nicked up and had scratched because the management feels it is okay to allow the cars to touch each other.Desired Settlement: I would like a settlement in the amount of $500 to take care of the damage my car underwent while under their supervision. This is a bargain considering I have an invoice from a body shop that shows repairs will cost $700.Thank you

Review: I parked my car at [redacted] (Alliance Parking) n for a month using [redacted]. When my month was up, I decided to move my car to a less expensive garage that was closer to my home. The business owner called my cell phone on Sunday and asked why and when I said it got too expensive, he asked "you can't afford $450 a month", and laughed. I told him I was using a different service and we argued back and forth and eventually hung up. Fast forward to June [redacted], the day I am picking up my vehicle. My car was parked outside the garage against a wall and when I inspected the car, I noticed huge scratches and dents and scruffs on both the drivers side & passenger sides. The damage is primarily over the wheel well, back bumper and the drivers side window. It seems as though the attendant backed the car into the wall, went to turn a corner, and it with the other side and scrapped it against a wall. When we confronted the attendant, he told us to call the manager, Esteban, and solve the issue with him. When we called Esteban, he told us that since we tried to get a discounted rate, we must be trying to beat them out of money by crying about car damage. He said our car was old and was probably already damaged and he wouldn't grant us any money because he knows his attendant wouldn't do the damage to the car. After about an hour of back and forth on the phone, we called our insurance company & [redacted] to file a claim. Esteban said he would not grant us a dollar toward the damage because he is certain we did it on purpose. Today, I had the opportunity to speak to the business owner who was again, wildly unprofessional and rude. He laughed and exclaimed "REMEMBER ME? REMEMBER HOW RUDE YOU WERE TO ME ON SUNDAY? WELL GOOD LUCK GETTING A (EXPLICATED) DOLLAR OUT OF ME. STOP CALLING MY BUSINESS" and hung up the phone. When I called back, I heard him laughing in the background while his employee said "he is unavailable and he said he is not going to give you anything for the damage so stop calling."Desired Settlement: They need to take responsibility for the damage. I did not want this matter to get out of hand but clearly it did. My vehicle was damaged at the hands of this company and it seems they did it on purpose. He is acting like he is punishing me for our conversation on Sunday and my desire to move to a closer, cheaper location to my apartment. They need to rectify this issue immediately. They need to file a claim through their insurance company and pay for the damage.

Review: My wife and I parked at [redacted] the night of Nov [redacted] for dinner. Upon retrieving our car, we noticed that my wife's prescription driving glasses were missing. We spent the next 35 minutes or so searching the car profusely with flashlights. Nothing was ever found and the police were called. "[redacted]r" of the shop was present at the time but was unresponsive and combative. We have since replaced the glasses and are writing this as evidence to support our claim and request for reimbursement.Desired Settlement: I fully expect to be reimbursed in full for the purchase of these replacement glasses. Total $324.84 .
