Alliance Plumbing provided plumbing services to my apartment located at 3616 N 5th Ave, Apt 16D2, Phoenix, AZ 85013 on or around September 2018. The reason for the plumbing services was due to yellow tinged water coming from shower pipes. Plumbers changed out the pipes, however, left their trash in my apartment and everything was covered in wall dust including my clothes and carpet. I took pictures of the damages to show proof of what the plumbers left behind to landlord. I had to take some of my clothes dry cleaners and some to the laundry mat. I was only reimbursed $150 by the company with gift cards. My total cleaning bill came to $418.55 ($45 for laundry mat, $328.55 for dry cleaning and $45 for cleaning bedroom carpet). I'm seeking $268.55 for out-of-pocket expenses. I've called company multiple times but could not reach manager, *** Fuller. This will be my last resort before filing a civil complaint with the court. I will provide receipts upon request.
The complainant is a tenant at an apartment home for which we provided service. The apartment community is the owner of the property and who we were performing the work for. They notified the tenants and provided access. We understand that in this situation, the tenant is claiming that sheet rock dust was found on some of her clothing. We dealt directly with the property management company (our customer) and offered compensation for the cleaning of these clothes. We do not offer compensation directly to the tenants. We do not deal with tenants on behalf of our customers. We only work with the apartment community as we feel it is up to their discretion on how to handle their customers complaints. The community (our customer) accepted the $150.00 settlement and never asked for additional compensation. If the tenant is unhappy with their compensation they should seek satisfaction from the owner who authorized the work. In this case we are simply an outside vendor who was granted permission and access in order to perform the work we proposed. When an issue was brought to our attention by our customer, we offered compensation, which was accepted.
The person who has filed this complaint is not a customer. They have never contracted us to perform any work. They have never paid us for any goods or services rendered. We have never been contracted to provide any goods or services to this individual. We have never billed, or received compensation of any kind from this individual. Since we have never engaged in business with this individual we feel a complaint filed with the Revdex.com is an improper attempt to damage our rating and negatively impact our business.
Please do not assume that my ulterior motive is to damage the company's ratings and/or negatively impact the business in any way. My goal is to be reimburse for the out-of-pocket expenses that I pay for both dry cleaning, laundry mat and carpet cleaning. I had to scrap by for a few months because of the unforeseeable damages that was done by your employee. I had to buy cleaning supplies and a mask cover so I wouldn't inhale the thick dust which covered every each of my apartment. My renter's insurance wouldn't cover it because I did not meet the $500 threshold. I spoke to two attorneys for legal advice and both said to file in a complaint in small claims court. I am using Revdex.com as a last resort to remediate this matter. The work that your company was hired to do was to perform services in the apartment which was initiated by me. The landlord has a duty to hire contractors to fix the problem that was initiated by me. The fact of the matter is your employees/contractors who entered the property failed to cover any part of the apartment. Not one inch.. I came home to trash that was left behind and all my belongings covered in dust. No clothes to wear except the clothes that I wore which was a hard pill to swallow. Again, all I'm requesting is to be reimburse for the damages that I had to pay out of my pocket. Nothing else. I'm trying to give you every option possible to resolve, but it seems that this is my last option before filing with small claims court.
