I hired Alliance back in the summer of to assist with a tax issue with the IRS They charged me approximately $to do what they call an "Investigation" to find out what my options were After their "Investigation" was complete, I was notified of the amount I owed the IRS I already knew how much I owe the IRS and told Alliance previously of the amount Once they told me of this amount they wanted $to complete "Negotiations" with the IRS to try to get me a settlement of some type I asked them what my options are and they never advised me They told me that that would be part of the $if I decided to pay them They stopped communicating with me I decided that I did not wish to do business with a company that could not assist me I then received a call from Mr [redacted] , which claimed to be the Senior Tax representative with Alliance Mr [redacted] told me that he would be my contact and that if I had any questions that I should contact him I have
In July I hired 'Alliance Tax Advocate' and it was nothing but a nightmare dealing with themThe original person I was working with said they would have either an offer in compromise or payment plan worked out about weeks after I got my paper work to themAfter I paid & sent my paperwork in the first case manager unfortunately left the company and the person who took over at the beginning of August (Brenda R.) was an absolute nightmareMonths went by and I had to fight to get any information or even a reply via emailI was then informed that it would cost me $MORE than what was originally agreed the cost for the entire service for them to even try to negotiate my taxes owed downAfter trying to get her to send me proof of what she had even done up to this point (this point being October 10th btw) with no response I demanded a supervisor on the 25thFinally on November 2nd I spoke to a supervisor who promptly refunded my money upon request which was the only remotely positive interaction I had with this company at all
