Review: I am 71 years old and have been flying since 1957 and in all that time I have N E V E R taken "cancellation" coverage. I had planned a trip (my last flying adventure) to Istanbul, Turkey in January 2015 and decided to take this insurance coverage in case something came up and I was unable to travel--or what might fall under the other parts of this insurance--baggage loss--delays or cancellations etc.

The situation on the middle east is deteriorating and with the latest influx of 170,000 refugees into Turkey this past weekend, and the new president of Turkey that is of questionable character, and making decisions that are not necessarily in America's interest I came to the conclusion that at my age it might not be such a good idea for me to go on this trip---STRICTLY for personal safety concerns. Perhaps it is my fault that I did not read A L L the very small lettering that accompanies policies, but the gist of what I did read indicated to me that I would be able to cancel with no financial penalties to me from Delta Air Lines. This is the O N L Y reason that I took this insurance!

I cancelled my flight with Delta Air Lines and for them to put my mileage back into my account they are charging me $150.00 but the woman suggested I contact Allianz and file a claim. I did this and was told that because I felt for my personal safety and this was an elected cancellation they will not cover it.

I just want them to do the right thing and for once in their corporate lives not be so concerned with the bottom line! I also hope that other people read this BEFORE they commit to insurance especially with Allianz and make a better decision than I did.Desired Settlement: That they take into consideration my age--- and the political situation in that part of the world---and pay my claim

Review: on January **, 2015, I purchased tickets through [redacted] for a concert. At then end of my purchase it asked would I like to purchase ticket insurance, in the event that I couldn't make the concert the insurance would insure my purchase and I would get a full refund. I purchased the insurance for an additional 7 dollars. I was billed and the money was taken out of my account however I never recieved a confirmation with my policy number. Ive called them several times, emailed them several times and have spoken with a manager and have gotten nowhere. They keep telling me they have no record of me, however I sent them a copy of my order details and a picture of the money they took from me. I am unable to attend the concert due to work obligations and I would like to get my money back. I have gotten nowhere with either axs or allianze and im extremely frustarted they are not honoring their product and I feel as though ive been scammed.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my policy number so that I can get my money back for the concert ticket. I am unsure of the amount of time I have to do so.

Review: I purchased travel insurance through Allianz to cover my flight in case of emergency or trip cancellation. I knew I would be seeing family and dealing with family matters and I did indeed have to cancel my flight and try to reschedule for two days after. After spending two hours on hold between Allianz and [redacted], I came to learn that Allianz only covers trip changes and cancellations for immediate family emergencies..... AND... they need a doctors note to prove that this was indeed an immediate family member emergency and the doctor recommended that I don't leave the patient. This is not advertised anywhere on the [redacted] site, and as far as I'm concerned, that is a complete violation of patients confidentiality rights. I cancelled my flight through [redacted], lost $230 for the cancellation fees, and I lost out on the $37 dollars I paid for Allianz Insurance to cover me for such a matter. This is a scam, and they lead you to believe that this insurance will cover trip changes and cancellations, but only if you get a signed doctors note?!? This is not a family medical emergency, rather a family related issue that needs my attention - an issue I will never discuss with an airline broker or insurance broker. This is fraud.Desired Settlement: Refund of the $267 I lost.

Review: My building located in [redacted] suffered damages in late 2012 while covered with insurance with Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty/AGCS [redacted]. with the [redacted] as my broker. It is 2014 and I still have not received payment from that loss from this insurance company. I've submitted all the information requested several times to the [redacted] and Allianz all parties continue to claim they never received it, and they have lost several pieces of important information and state it was never received. Thus they continue to deny my claim stating information was not received, information does not support my claim, my documents are incomplete, etc. In many pieces of documentation, they have listed incorrect information such as dates of occurrence, actual address of loss and so forth. They have gone out of their way to skew the information to try show the loss occurred after my policy ended in 2013 and refuse to acknowledge the loss occurred in 2012 to try and not pay me. My building suffered at least $50,000 overall in damages and I have repeatedly submitted documentation supporting that amount. This has gone through several channels and has sat on the desk of [redacted], the [redacted] in Colorado for some time now. I paid a broker, [redacted] and paid for the insurance to cover these events, I should be reimbursed for my loss. It seems they all work together against the consumer and are willing to go to great lengths to avoid paying out claims.

I want to be reimbursed for my loss of $50,000. I have tried on several occasions to settle this claim yet continue to receive a run around by both Allianz and the [redacted]. [redacted]The dates given in the requested fields are approximate as this has gone through several channels on several dates.[redacted]

Sincerely,

Company has been avoiding me for 2 years. I had an incident occur with [redacted] Spirit has told me to contact Allianz in regards to getting paid. Allianz has avoided me. Made the situation hurt. I feel more tramautized by Allianz than I do my Spirit. They will send me an email about every 4 months. There have been times Spirit has promised me I would hear from someone at Allianz that day, or that week.....and I would still wait about 2 months. The finally stopped emailing me back or answering my phone calls. The last person to call me was a person who called me on "private" and wanted to know where I lived. (I had recently moved) The town I live at now is of about 500 people and in the middle of nowhere. This random person who wanted me to meet up claimed he had an office near where I lived. (very, very, very, very unlikely. they don't even have a target or starbucks within an hour of me and you want me to believe this guy has an office?)

This company lies. Its not about "oops I missed your call." or "oh shoot! I didn't forgt to email you back because we were so busy." This is a company that knows they have a lot of money to pay me and wont. And so they lie and say "Well, I called you." Or "well, I emailed you back on this date" LIES! THEY ARE ALL LIES!

This company has made me fear my safety. Gave me anxiety. Made me get a PO Box, because 'm scared for them to have my physical address. They lie. They are trained to lie and avoid. We will be taking them to court by the end of the year. Hopefully more will be exposed about this terrible company!

NOTE: They have made this experience terrible for [redacted] as well. Because Spirit doesn't right the check. Allianz does and they havent. Spirit has been stuck in the middle when I thought it would be the other way around.
