Customer signed a contract in February of 2015, to be responsible for timely payments on a car loan. Customer was late on payment #1. Vehicle was repossessed. Then customer came up with cash to redeem. Customer has paid a total of 3 payments...

and wants to defer the 4th, the 5th being due in 1 week. Company regulations allow for an exception one time in a loan that is in good standing, and only after the 1st year of timely payments, with very few exceptions. We have a business to run. We are not a charity organization, although we do take into consideration many customers' individual situations if they have proven that they are responsible. Her responsibilities on the contract are also to maintain insurance on said vehicle. Her insurance canceled in May. She is not meeting her obligations for which she signed on her contract.

They stated the only reason that they repoed at time they did and would have gave me more time but could not verify my insurance wich was not true because I repeatedly called allstate. and I adivsed them of my illness and they treated me poorly and also sent me a email stating the balance was not due till 7/12/15 wich made me believe after me appealing the declined deferment they finally approved it. And I got no notice of cancellation of insurance and my friend agreed to put me on if that was true or they are suppose to put default insurance through there company. This company has treat me not like a human being and has not tried to work with me with my illness at all and have been very shady towards me.

As of 7/13/15, customer's vehicle has been repossessed for the 2nd time since contracted on 2/12/15. CA Law does not mandate releasing back as reinstatement of loan. "Exercise of the right to reinstate the contract shall be limited to once in any 12-month period and twice during the term of the contract." Customer does, however, have the right to redeem by paying off the contract in full. She will be sent the required "Notice of Intent" by certified mail today.
