Allied Fire and Security Reviews (3)

We have been trying to work with Mr *** on his issue to come to a resolution to his situation. On January 5th, an alert was sent to Mr *** regarding the temp alarmMr *** contacted us and requested service to be scheduled on January 9th as he was not available before that time. Our
technician tested the temp monitor and verified that the signals were sent and the temp monitor was working correctly. Mr *** requested that the temp monitor be replaced even though the current one was working correctly based on our test. The parts were ordered and arrived shortly after that. We tried to schedule the service call to come out and replace the temp monitor different times but since Mr ***'s home was under construction due to the repairs, we were not able to do so. Mr *** advised us that we could get it scheduled after the construction was completed and he would let us knowSince we were never contacted regarding setting up the service appointment to get the temp monitor replaced, we went ahead and closed the ticket and did not charge for this serviceIn July, Mr *** came in to our office and spoke to our branch manager and service supervisorMr *** explained the situation to them and requested that Allied Fire & Security pay his deductibleThere was never any mention of any issues with Mr *** alleging that Allied was somehow at fault before this period of timeThe branch manager and service supervisor mentioned to Mr *** that they needed to run it by the owner to figure out what the next steps wereIt was decided that we would turn this in to our insurance company to file a claimThis information was communicated to Mr ***.Our insurance company HUB reached out to Mr *** on August 30th with information on the next steps including having him send his homeowner's claim with damage estimates, invoices and photosThey also asked to confirm his deductible with either his policy declarations or showing where his deductible was applied as part of the cleanup or repair of his homeThe insurance company is handling this from here and will take care of Mr *** as long as he provides the proper information Based on the e-mail we received from Mr *** this morning, the insurance companies e-mail went to his junk folder and he never saw itI have attached this e-mail to this claim

Set appt. with [redacted] to provide quote at our condo location in Rathdrum, Idaho for an exterior surveillance system on 3/11/15. My timeline was explained to him for completion of the project. At that meeting we discussed the timeline. I was promised a quote within one week, and the install in approx. 2 weeks. Received quote after two weeks and cannot get clarification or questions answered regarding as Mr. [redacted] does not respond to emails. Attempted to contact someone on this issue at the office today, but no one was available, per the phone assistant. Attempted to leave [redacted] a message at his voice mail, but mailbox is full.Desired Settlement: I am thoroughly disappointed by the lack of forthrightness and timely follow-up.

Under no condition would we consider doing business with Allied in the future as it would be very questionable whether proper customer service could be obtained or whether information provided would be accurate and in our best interests.

It bewilders us why [redacted] would waste not only our time, given our situation, but also his and the company's time to drive to the location and view the site, if proper follow thru is not forthcoming.

Response:

I would reccomend that you open any box they say has a specific product and check it out prior to leaving the store.

I purchased a gun safe,June 10th 2013 the salesman said he had one in the back room, it was a sealed box. I drove home 162 miles away, and it was not the one described. It would cost me more to ship it back, or even more to drive the round trip back there, than it is worth. I am going to sell it locally at a yard sale. Would not reccomend this business to anyone.
