We received a call from a customer asking us about an issue she is having with a shower door we installed over months ago when she let me know the issue she was having I let her know what the possible charges would be if there wee any moldings that needed to be replaced but if it was just a door adjustment that we would not charge here even though the door comes with a day warrantee for any adjustments She agreed and wanted us to come out We scheduled for Thurs the 30th of July On the way to the Customer at 7:am she called very upset thinking that we scheduled for 7: I told her that I understand that maybe she got the appt time wrong because we don't schedule anything prior to 8am in Howell due to the fact that we are coming out of Red Bank which is a minute ride She became very upset and began yelling at me on the phone that she had to go to work and I stopped her and told here I had no intention of yelling at anyone at 8am or any other time and does she still want us to come She said she had waited this long she might as well wait We pulled into her driveway with a ft truck at 8:am and rang the door bell times and knocked a couple of times and waited minutes and no one answered the door We left At this time after seeing how unappreciative this person is to have a company come out to take care of an issue that we did not create but were willing to help,,,to hear the lies and accusations of waiting till 9am and loosing an hour of work,,,to be so ridiculous as to write a letter to the Revdex.com because she probably fell asleep and didn't hear the door bell, that if she does not drop this silly complaint we will have no choice but to bill her for an appointment and labor for men for the hour If we see ANY negative reviews by this person or anyone she is related to we will sue for defamation of character We have men that were at her door including the owner of the company At this point we will advise this person to loose our phone number because our offer of free service has expired Our job is to show up and get our job done which we do every day with customers who are mature and appreciate our services and allow us to work in their homes, this persons job as a customer is to answer the door and let us in which proved to be too much We carry an A+ rating with the Revdex.com and pride ourselves on that fact after being in business for over years

We received a phone call from the gentleman yelling at us at hello that we had misled him and charged him $instead of for a service call. We were asked to come out and look at damage that had occurred to a shower by no fault of ours. We let the customer know he would be
responsible for a service call of $which he responded "I did expect you to come out for free" We let him know the charges prior to coming out and he agreed. When we got there we found that the cleaning people had moved the moldings and the door would not shut. we reset the molding and tightened up a handle. We were asked to check another shower for repairs which we did not charge for. We can only keep our respectable business practices and show people the respect they deserve but when people start yelling on the phone and they just happen to be a used car salesman, it happens to be ironic when they turn to the Revdex.com in hopes of unsubstantiated recovery. I think at that point when people resort to yelling and disrespecting others than yes it is time to disconnect the phone call

Myself and 1 helper went to install a frameless shower door and side panel at the customers home.  We completed our job and had the homeowner inspect the job.  She was very pleased with everything as were we.  The lady who was very nice signed off on the job and paid the balance...

after a full inspection.  about a week later or so we receive a call from the husband letting us know that there is a 1/16 to an 1/8 of an inch discrepency and demands that we come and take a look at it.  We agree and when we arrive he is angry for no apparent reason.  We looked a the shower door and let him know that we were not going to be removing the glass because it was perfectly inline and straight.  He disagreed.  I asked my helper to come into the shower with me to read the tape measure himself as well as the homewner becasue it was a perfect 1" across the inside of the shower pan, he snapped , cursed us to no end calling us and told us to get out of his house and we did, he continued threatening me and my help all the way out the door and down the sidewalk, when I finally turned to tell him and said that we came out here in good faith after the job was completed to satisfy a customer and this is how you show your true colors.  The shower was 100% perfect,  we never did file a police report on our behalf the harrasment but I am deffinitely reconsidering doing that.  This man is very unsatble and in need of help.   When I let him know that his wife had been very happy with the job after we showed [redacted] the inside and outside of the shower, the husband let me know that she ([redacted] ) doesnt know anything and that she has no clue.  I thought that was very insulting and showed his true colors once again.   We have no intention of ever dealing with this customer ever again and will be visiting the [redacted] pd to move forward with a harrasment charge.

I rest my case!  Just reading his response is proof of his wonderful customer service skills!  He must have been at the wrong house because I was in the living room at that time so who's lying?  Not only will I lose his number, but I will not ever recommend him.

Love this company!!! Great price and my frameless shower looks great,,I recommended Allied Glass to my Inlaws and my Neighboor who both also had a great experience with Frank. The price he quotes is the actual price and he is a perfectionist. We are very happy and would use Frank and his crew again.

Review: I was quoted $75 for a Service Call. I was charged $100 for the Service Call. When I questioned the charge, the VERY RUDE Owner told me not to waste his time over $25 and HUNG UP ON ME!!!! How can someone do Business in this way?Desired Settlement: I want Allied Glass to honor their quoted Price of $75. I want a Refund Check for $25.

Review: On Friday 1/22/16 After installing a glass shower door allied was paid in full $1,241 plus a $40 tip by my wife who did not closely inspect the final results when the job was completed. As a result upon inspection later that day after work I was unsatisfied with how the side panel of glass was installed slightly on an angle and caused the reveal on glass door to also look like it was slightly on an angle beveling in towards the shower. I called Frank the installer at allied and discussed the issue over the phone with Frank offering no resolution in fact Frank absolutely refused to even come out and look at the customers concern and said this slight angle was well within his acceptable margin of error and was not something he would not even consider correcting. About 30 mins later Frank called back and said he had reconsidered and would come out to see the panel the following Friday. The following Friday Frank showed up banged pretty loudly on the front door and when I opened the front door Frank's body language told me that he was not really there to discuss my dissatisfaction with the install. In fact he looked at the side panel and immediately continued to say he was not going to remove and correct the side panel and that it looked ok to him. Frank frantically continued to explain how he measured and installed from inside the shower instead of simply discussing a resolution (This guy is never wrong) after several attempts of trying to have a conversation and having Frank continue to speak over me I finally threw Frank out of the house. While walking out of the bathroom Frank called me a disgrace as a homeowner so I called him a tough guy and then walking down the driveway Frank yelled some pretty unbelievable comments for someone who is in the service industry. Frank said people are real tough in there houses and asked if I would like to step out in the street and settle things as he was obviously not happy being thrown out. Frank then yelled something about my Father in law who's bathroom the shower door was installed in. I have never been threatened by anyone performing a service in my home before but it was even more shocking to have him start verbally attacking family members. This all could have been resolved so easily in a few hours worth of labor by removing the side panel cleaning off the any double sided tape or adhesive and silicone straightening the base strip that holds the glass side panel and resealing however Frank continued saying it was too much work to even consider. I paid a carpenter $60 and he corrected the issue in less then 1 hour.Desired Settlement: Pay $100 for the time and inconvenience of having the poor installation corrected. And I believe the Revdex.com rating should be lowered on someone who threatens customers.

Review: This company installed a glass shower in Nov. 2014. The installation was fine, but the last couple of weeks I noticed the shower door was rubbing against the top frame and was not closing properly. I contacted Frank at Allied last week and we scheduled an appt. for 7/30 between the hours of 7:30am-8am. I told him that I needed to leave for work by 8:20am. He called me on 7/29 wanting to know what the service call was for! I reminded him that we spoke a few days ago and the door needed readjusting. I called him on 7/30 at 8am since he had not showed or called. He said the appt. was for 8-8:15am. I reminded him that when we spoke I told him I left for work at 8:20, so I would not have made the appt. for 8-8:15am. He said he "wasn't going to argue with me at 8 in the morning" so "did I want him to show up or not?" He said he would be here approx. 8:15. I waited until 9:00. He NEVER SHOWED and NEVER CALLED so I left for work. I lost an hour of work and pay because of him. I paid over $2500 for this shower and I would expect this kind of service from [redacted] but not from supposedly a reputable company. He has a bad attitude and is in the wrong kind of business treating his customers this way. When he installed the shower, he was very responsive (of course) but when it came to servicing and not getting paid for adjusting a door, his attitude changed.

I had Allied Glass come to my home and I will say it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. [redacted] the owner came out not only for the measurement and estimate but was also here for the installation which came out perfect! I had other companies come to my home and they were not nearly as informative as [redacted]. He was polite, took good care of my home while installing and honored the same price he gave me on the phone. I would highly recommend this company and would deffinitely use him in the future.
