Review: I parked in this lot on November 9th 2013 around 11:15 pm. The attendant told me that I could pay $24 for 24 hours parking. I returned the next day around 11 am and found my car blocked in behind another car. A separate attendant demanded I pay an additional charge for parking that day. I refused on the basis of my discussion with the previous attendant. After I asked for the attendant's name and the business's operating name at which point the attendant removed the car blocking mine. Ultimately I was able to remove my car from the premises with no further charge, but not without an argument I would have much rather avoided. It is not clear to me whether one of the first or second attendant deliberately misled me on the company policy or the company policy itself is to blame. Regardless I would suggest parking elsewhere.Desired Settlement: I would like an explanation of the policy from the company's perspective and a written apology for the unsatisfactory experience.

Allied Parking Services is a small consulting enterprise that under certain conditions will operate a clients property-such as the parking lot at [redacted] streets in [redacted], Pennsylvania.

My policy after some 30 plus years in the parking industry is rather straightforward: do my utmost to provide customers value for their money and keep the number of incidents, like the one outlined in your recent letter to me-to a minimum.

Clearly this customer had a disagreeable and unfortunate experience while parking at the facility on the night and subsequent day in question. The rates at this location are as follows:

Cars entering before 9:AM - flat rate of $12.00

Cars entering between 9:AM and 3PM - day rates up to a max of $22.00 Cars entering after 3:PM - flat rate of $24.00

All rates are good until 7AM the next business day unless otherwise noted on the ticket (multiple days). And a sign advertizing such is posted on the booth.

Regardless of the rate structure and sign, it’s clear to me, that this customer believed that her $24.00 covered her parking through the next business day.

I am prepared to reimburse her the $24.00 parking charge directly. Moreover if this customer is in the area and would care to park at this location again I will arrange for her to do so at no charge.

Again, my sincere apology to this woman for the inconvenience we caused her.
