JUNE 2020, I MET MR. S. MR. INDICATED HES BEEN DOING REMODELS FOR OVER 30YRS BUT RECENTLY STARTED HIS OWN COMPANY. MR. VISITED MY HOME &INQUIRED ABOUT ANOTHER PROJECT HE SAW I WAS WORKING ON. HE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME, THE TILE WAS HIS EXPERTISE BUT HAS VENTURED TO DO MORE. MR.SOLD HIMSELF ON REMODELING & OFFERED TO TILE MY BATHROOM. MR. STARTED WORKING ON THE TILE JULY 8. HE SAID THE TILE IN THE BATHROOM WOULD BE COMPLETED IN ONE WEEK. MR. DID NOT COMPLETE THE BATHROOM AS PROMISED. ON JULY 20, HE THEN DECIDED TO HAVE A HELPER ASSIST HIM. I WITNESSED MR.’S HELPER, JEREMY, SPREAD THE EPOXY GROUT AS IF IT WAS TRADITIONAL GROUT. THE EPOXY GROUT WAS SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE CERAMIC TILE, WALLS AND FLOORING. JULY 23, THE BATHROOM HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED & THE WORKMANSHIP WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE. AS HE AND HIS HELPER CAME TO "COMPLETE" THE JOB, I EXPRESSED THE POOR WORKMANSHIP OF THE TILE BEING UNEVEN ON THE WALLS & FLOOR, NOR DOES THE SHOWER PAN SLOPE PROPERLY FOR WATER TO DRAIN.I TOLD HIM THE TILES NEED TO BE REPLACED AS THE EPOXY GROUT HAS DRIED AND THERES NO WAY OF REMOVING THIS. HE APPARENTLY TRIED TO REMOVE THE EPOXY THE DAY BEFORE WITH AN ADHESIVE WIPE REMOVER WHICH DID NOT WORK. MR. TRIED TO BLAME ME FOR THE UNEVEN TILE, INDICATING I REQUESTED A TIGHT GROUT LINE. I TOLD HIM, AS A PROFESSIONAL, IT WAS HIS JOB TO INFORM ME OF ANY MISHAPS DURING THIS CONVERSATION. HE READ AN ARTICLE ONLINE WHICH STATED CERAMIC TILE BEING KILNED ADDING A CURVATURE AND THIS ARTICLE WAS ALL HE HAD TO SHOW HIS INSURANCE. I HAVE ASKED MR. FOR HIS INSURANCE INFORMATION AND HE HAS NOT RESPONDED. THE BATHROOM IS AN UTTERLY MESS WHICH NEEDS TO BE COMPLETELY DEMOLISHED AND REDONE. I’VE PAID OVER $5K IN MATERIAL & AM CURRENTLY GETTING QUOTES TO REDO THE BATHRM. MR. ADVERTISES HIS BUSINESS AS BEING LICENSED/BONDED & WARRANTIES HIS WORK AS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. NEITHER OF THESE ITEMS IN THIS CASE HOLD TRUTH. IF MR. IS SO CONFIDENT OF HIS WORKMANSHIP, WHY IS HE RELUCTANT TO PROVIDE ME W/HIS INSURANCE INFORMATION?
Allied Resources was contacted by the formentioned complainent to set a door. The first visit to this customers home revealed that the home was completely under reconstruction. One of the many projects the customer had was tile needing to be set in a bathroom. Rommel S has many years experience setting tile and agreed to do do the work. Customer purchased tile and grout for this project and Rommel took direction from customer and worked under tight supervision until it was approximately 90% completed. The assistant Mr S had that customer speaks of followed direction from customer and grout guidelines, so customers dipiction is simple untrue. This bathroom looked gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous, however was unfinished. It was at this time customer decided to express dissatisfaction. Allied Resources does guarantee all work to the customers satisfaction and was willing to work with her to make her happy, but she forced them to leave project 90% completed. The customer was passing judgement on work that was not completed and gave no opportunity to Allied to rectify her concerns. To date customer has paid 0 to allied resources but has a custom beautiful tile bathroom.Allied Resources will be pursuing payment for work rendered.
Allied resources response to this complaint is that the job was not completed. Mrs *** fired Allied resources when job was 90% completed. When presented with Mrs *** concerns of coarse Allied offered and wanted to do whatever needed for Mrs ***, but she wanted us to leave immediately. Mrs *** owes Allied resources for the installation of her tile, and some materials used. After payment is made Allied will do the work to make customer satisfied.

The tile was damaged prior to completion. Furthermore, Mr. S and his assistant walked out. Its apparent Mr. S/Allied does not want to take responsibility for his actions by continuing with false statements and being evasive. This company has no dignity nor, the proper credentials to operate in this capacity, this matter should have been resolved before arriving at this point. I am seeking payment for damages incurred and I will continue to do so until compensated.
