I HAD ROOF AND DORMER REPAIR ON HOUSE AND SHINGLES STRIPPED AND REPLACED ON HOUSE AND GARAGEHAD WINDOWS INSTALLED AND GUTTER INSTALLEDBILL AND HIS CREW FROM ALLIED DID AN EXCELLENT JOBAND THEY WERE IN AND OUT IN LESS THAN A WEEKI WOULD REFER HIM TO ANYONE ELSE, ACTUALLY WORKING ON A WORK LIST TO HAVE HIM COME BACK AND DO IN THE LATE SUMMER OR FALL

allied did new shingles &downspouts on our house..one of them was blown off by the wind...looks like the installer used short screws suspect other downspouts were done the same way...allied won't come out & reinstall & refasten other downspouts properly.....its been weeks of excuses

Our new roofing job was a challenging one due to a severely pitched roof We received an estimate very quickly and the work was performed as promised in the estimate The installers and owner were polite and professional The workers cleaned up very well at the end of each day and were very respectful of our presence in and around the home We were extremely pleased with the end result and would recommend them highly I will need some work done on our cedar shingles in the future and plan to call them again

I have been in constant contact with Mr*** and although he bought the house from one of my customers from seven years ago and the warranty was explained to be nontransferable my company fixed his leak free of chargeIt took two
attempts to fix leak and I asked Mr*** to let me know after several rains whether or not the leak had stopped and he let me know 7/7/there was no signs of leaking after two very hard rainsI believe he was very satisfied with our service as he thanked me very much for addressing his problem

I originally called *** Allied Roofing in August of because I noticed water stains at a point where the ceiling and the wall met and at the base of the wall I now realize that this wall is encasing a vent from my stove that exits from a flat roofI showed Bill the water stains and he said that I needed a completely new roofHis pricing was fair and I entered a contract to replace the roof (in addition to install siding and replace roofing for my sun room and bay windowHe completed the jobs and provided a yr warranty on all labor and materials
On February 9th and 10th, the replaced flat roof was leaking profusely, requiring a tarp and several buckets to be placed in the room below I shoveled the snow off of the roof on February 11th and called Bill to come and assess the problemHe came out on 2/16/while I was working, but did not call with his findingsI called and he stated that the leak was due to a low hooded vent attached to the roof and ice damningI as

This vendor replaced roofs at a condo complex in PalosWe have submitted multiple requests and work orders for warranty work and they will not even return the callWe have a warranty and can't get service

The gutters and ice and water shield installed on Mrs*** house are not the cause of her ice damming issues
When roof was installed she was made aware of extremely insufficient attic insulation, there were large areas of attic where there was no insulation at allMrs *** first contact with me was 12/17/and I informed her as soon as weather allows I will go to her home and check pitch of guttersRoofs in Chicagoland have been covered by snow since early December and it is unsafe to attempt accessing roofWhen we install gutters a level is used to insure proper pitch, however it is possible a mistake had been made and I will gladly check pitch of gutters and adjust if necessaryAs far as improper installation of ice and water shield goes that is impossible, ice and water shield does not prevent ice dams, it prevents water from backing up into structure when installed properlyThe ice dams are due to lack of attic insulation
I don't know what happened I did respond to this complaint the initial day I received itFor whatever reason it did not go throughAlso I have been in contact with the consumer listed on the complaint and notified her as soon as weather allows I will go out to her home and check pitch of gutters

*** *** came to my home today to look at the problems with the gutters, he noted that the gutter in the front of the house is not level/properly pitched, there is area (front of house) causing critter access to attic, the gutter in the back of the house he noted was clogged with leaves*** *** indicated that he would come back to correct the problems when the weather allows
I will contact *** *** or he can contact me when the weather allows for the corrections to be made, hopefully in the next few weeks

The weather appears to be getting more mild and every effort will be made to address leak issue within the next two weeks.

Allied Roofing Services, Inc. stands behind it's work and will rectify the situation by reinstalling downspout and inspecting other downspouts no later than June 2, 2017. We will contact Ronak [redacted] today and try to resolve the leaking issue as soon as possible. I still believe it is a problem with the masonry wicking in water at some point and not the roof. The roof leaked in the same spot prior to replacement. But we will try to resolve this next week.
