My truck was stolen earlier this year in JuneThey found it in a apartment parking lot in Owasso the manager had it towed to Allied Wrecker in TulsaI found out today 9-7-that they had found it on 8-28-and that it was at allied wreckerI called allied wrecker they told me I owed $because it had been there for 11daysI asked if there was away for it to be cheaper or discounted even offered to pay half the days since I just found out todayI was told there was nothing they could do and they used state ratesI told them I understand they use state rates but I was just informed so it seems like I am being robbed twice I had just found out and would have came earlier if I had knowThey state they sent out a letter in there allotted days but it was sent to an old address they state this is not there fault I should've changed it and they were not going to change there price
It seems that since they have a contract with the city of Tulsa there is some kind of scam goin

My mother was involved in an accident on 8/16/which totaled her carTPD called out Allied to tow the vehicledays later, I went with my stepfather to collect her personal belongings from the vehicle which was being transported to Copart (we were there when the car arrived)Guess what...they were all missing!
The items missing included a Coach purse and matching umbrella, a stainless steel "Yeti style" cup, her radar detector, her roadside emergency kit, a pair of boots, an insulated freezer bag, the trinkets hanging from her rear view mirror, and moreLiterally, the only thing left in the vehicle for us to pick up was papers (like bills, car related documents, etc.) Like I said, we were already at Copart when the car arrived, so I know that they had nothing to do with the missing itemsThe only other people that had any access to the vehicle prior to that were those employed by Allied TowingWe immediately said something to the people at Copart about the missing items, and the gentleman we spoke with explained to us that they had received several complaints of things being stolen out of vehicles that Allied had originally towed, and he even put us in contact with a guy that had the very same problem only ONE DAY before usThat gentleman is apparently having his insurance adjuster talk with Allied to try and resolve his issue
So, I got on the phone with Allied yesterday to make them aware of the situationThe lady I spoke with was very dismissive, saying "We don't enter the vehicles we tow" and that she would turn over my complaint to the driver supervisor
Now, I understand that it may be Allied's policy that they don't enter vehicles, but it's a ridiculous notion to claim that they can be certain that it never happensIs there a supervisor constantly with the vehicle? Even if there was, can that supervisor be trusted? My point is that just because it's policy doesn't mean it never happensI have already called again this morning because I still haven't received any information back from them on my complaint, but again, I just get told "I'll have someone get back with you"....more runaround
I assume that's how they plan on handling the situation, just keep pushing me off until I grow weary of the situation and give up, but that's not going to happenSee, I am a man of principles, and when they have quite literally added insult to my mother's injuries, I will continue to stay focused on this matter until it is resolved
Allied Towing also does not understand that I am an internet marketerI make things go viral for a living along with managing the online reputations of multiple local businessesJust as I make sure my client's online reputations are in good standing, the same work can be put into making sure an online reputation is destroyedMore than that, if this situation isn't handled by day's end, we are inclined to file a police report on the missing items, which will bring about an investigation into them by the very people who employ them with so much workEven further, with us knowing of there being at least two other people who have had this same issue, it seems like it might be a pretty good story for Channel News
So, let me speak directly to you, Allied TowingThis is not a situation in which you should be indignant about your culpability, it's a situation that calls for immediate action and resolutionEither track down the missing items or offer my mother a settlement for them, those are the only two outcomes that we will acceptTo anyone else considering using their services, heed my warning...do not trust them alone with your vehicle for a moment
***Update***
Just got off the phone with the supposed "driver manager" or owner or whoever, his name was Doug, and he told me they will do nothing about the situationThe level of indignation and disrespect he talked to me with is just about indescribableApparently, instead of doing anything to further investigate or take care of the issue, they would instead rather tell me to get lostThis company should in no way be trusted to conduct business in anything resembling a professional manner
