I rented a property with my roommate that was managed by Allied Ventures and Sam A*** was our point of contact/landlord
Upon moving out, we were provided an itemized list of damages, repairs, and the associated costsIn reviewing the list provided, it appeared that several charges were excessive (such as $to replace light bulbs and $of that charge being labor)A security deposit of $1,was made at the time of move in, in addition to a pet deposit of $and cleaning deposit of $which both the pet and cleaning deposit were non-refundableHowever, the lease agreement clearly stated the reason for the non-refundable depositsTwo of the damages listed were pet related, however, the pet deposit was not applied to the damages even though that is the reason for the deposit
After reviewing the list, I reached out to the landlord requesting copies of the invoices associated with the repairs as we as tenants are responsible for them and I wanted to ensure we were not
