Unprofessional. Allie’s crew scratched my dog’s eye and did not inform me. Giving them another try, we were charged an extra 50 percent fee due to a “behavior charge”. There was no phone call during the grooming to say our dog was not tolerating it or explanation when we picked him up. They’ve also implemented all kinds of new fees for running late to an appointment, a reschedule, a missed appointment, or late pickup. Though they don’t hold themselves to the same standards. No proof of vaccination is required here. No professionalism. And often no care or concern for the animals. We won’t be going back and am glad to take any opportunity to share with others our personal experiences there.

In addition, we have chances to meet multiple former employees of hers that have shared their experiences of their workplace conditions and employer. We feel lucky to have gotten clear of this place as easily as we did. Issues of Addiction, non-professionalism, disorganization and that’s only what we know about. Will not recommend.

8/8/2020 9am I took my dog Bell to be groomed at Allie's Mutt Hut when I walked in I seen that my dog was in a crate and had a 2-3" collar around her neck where she could not move. Allie stated Bella had developed some "Cage Aggression" that was the reason for the collar inside the crate. I paid Allie $50.00 for Bella's bath and haircut and left. The next day I noticed my dog get messing with her hind paws, once I looked at them I noticed they was cut up as well as her neck. I inboxed Allie on *** showing her pictures she claim she could not see them well and she does not recall her cutting Bella then went on to say Bella did it herself. I immediately took Bella to the Vet to make sure she was ok the Vet stated that she was cut by being shaved and that sometimes the razor can get so hot it can burn the dogs. Bella was given a shot and antibiotics by the vet as well as calming shampoo to help the cuts. Allie will not tell the truth about her accidentally cutting my dog so it resulted to this I want a refund of my money for Bella's haircut witch was $50.00. Had Allie told me she did this by accident I would have taken it better but since she want's to lie and say Bella did this to herself is ridiculous.

Allie's Mutt Hut Response • Aug 19, 2020

This is in response to a complaint I recieved. The dog in question was not in fact clipper burned because she was not shaved with a length short enough to do such damage. Veterinarians have a habit of blaming groomers for animals self mutilation because they do not know what our equipment does,or how it works. Bellas feet were no doubt irritated because she thrashed on the table and wasnt cooperative or friendly. That's not a secret from the owner. The pictures were a little blurry so I did ask if I could see the dog in person so I could aid in helping bella to feel better. I have some all natural *** spray that works wonders on irritation that would have solved this entire issue had the customer been willing to cooperate. Instead I was harassed, belittled, made fun of, and accused of being an animal abuser. So no, I will not be issuing a refund to this completely unreasonable client who refused to even provide the name of the veterinarian she saw.

I've provided screen shots of our conversations as proof of her hateful outbursts, uncooperation, and refusal to be a decent human being while I tried to aid her dog during this issue.

Regards,

Allie of Allie's Mutt Hut.

In the messages that Allie has sent you can see where she said if she "DID" SHE'S SORRY! Bella was not cut up before she went to be groomed so it had to come from Allie that she is claiming she didn't do. As far as Bella not being friendly this is the first time I'm hearing that you can see in the messages that Allie sent you not one time did she state Bella was not "friendly", even when I picked her up Allie did not say she wasn't friendly or that it was any problems she's a 9 pound puppy of course she's going to be uncooperative after she's been hurt. And anytime you chain a puppy inside a crate to a small collar to the point that they can't move that is animal abuse. As far as the text messages those came from my sister because she was so upset after I told her what had happened and the messages didn't come from *** which is my only number and Allie has that number, I only communicated with Allie on *** Messenger that is it. She's lucky I didn't request the Vet bill to be paid which was $99.00 and I will continue to let everyone know she is an animal abuser because you do not chain a puppy inside a crate to the point that they can't move or cut them and not inform the owner. I absolutely didn't tell Allie which Vet she went to because just like in the pics she sent that's none of her business. I'm wasn't going to take my dog back to her after she hurt her, I took Bella straight to the Vet to be seen Allie is no Dr so why would I take her back to her abuser?
