Review: I have ordered propane from this company for several years. Always getting about $300.00 once a year. I have very little that runs on propane. I ordered my usual propane for 2014 of $300.00 in June.I saw propane truck leave and took bill from my tank and shocked to see it was over $1200.00. I called immediately. I had given them my credit card when I ordered and had authorized charge for $300.00. I spoke with receptionist who confirmed I had only ordered $300.00. She said driver made a mistake. I told her to send him back to remove. She called me back to say that was not possible and they would give me a discount to $600.00 and give me 3 months to pay. I explained I could not afford this. I was getting a divorce and on disability and getting ready to sell my house. I did not want the propane. I spoke with owner [redacted] and told him it was their mistake and I could not pay for the unwanted propane. I thought situation was resolved. I moved out of my house in October 2014. I never heard anything more until I received a letter from Greentree Collection Agency for $575.36 debt to Allinson Propane. I spoke with supervisor [redacted], she marked debt as in dispute. I called Allinson Propane on June 25 and spoke with [redacted] who states he never had conversation with me about the mistaken delivery and to contact the collection agency only and hung up on me. Per Pam Ray he is refusing to waive the debt. It is not fair to insist In I pay for propane I did not request.Desired Settlement: Please have Allinson Propane waive the charges to my account and remove the debt reported to [redacted]
