I had to have tub serviced by a local repair institution who charged me $197.00 dollars to fix a warranty issue.Since the remodel USA is no longer affiliated with [redacted] I would assume my warrenty is nill and void. I would like to have my 197.00 refunded, if this is not possible then just drop it

To whom it may concern:While we recognize the fact that there are problems that need to be rectified on the job we do not feel that a settlement of the amount requested by the customer is reasonable.  At the last meeting with the customer where their Independent Inspector, certified by Montgomery County, Maryland, had reviewed the job and provided feedback the list submitted with the prior response was negotiated with the customer.  Since that time we have taken the initiative to order all materials possible to become prepared to do the additional work, obviously any materials not yet chosen by the customer could not be purchased yet.  We are willing to stand by our offer and the verbal agreement that was made with the customer.  We feel that we have made every concession and effort to resolve this, certainly to the customer's benefit.  While we do not want to be involved with any litigation related to this matter, and that is why we have expressed our willingness to provide significant additional work to remedy the issues, however, we will defend ourselves if the matter cannot be resolved in reasonable way.  In addition we did incur significant expense to send a moderator to the customer's home in an effort to reach a settlement, all to no avail.If the customer is unwilling to resolve this matter as agreed upon and expressed in the letter that was previously sent then please close this Revdex.com complaint because we have made every effort to satisfy it. Thank you,Remodel USA Inc.
