We called Mr [redacted] directly after not hearing back and he verbally agreed to pay $1,to close out the issueWe are still awaiting a call back from him to pay with a credit cardWe will keep you updatedThank you again for helping us resolve this matter

Customer's threshold install was scheduled a few months back however customer understandably needed to reschedule due to a death in the family, we were under the impression that customer would call us when he was ready for us to install the threshold, which was the only part left on a much larger jobRegrettably, instead of receiving a direct call from the customer, we only found out that the customer was ready for the install via a Revdex.com complaintNonetheless we have contacted the customer and scheduled to the reinstall of the threshold We regret any misunderstanding or miscommunication

We are writing to reject the business response from Allphase sent 10/1/We attempted to respond on the business website however, the Revdex.com system is not allowing us to send the response via emailThus, we are providing our response to Revdex.com directly via this emailPlease assist in posting this reply to our Complaint # [redacted] In light of a report from [redacted] that the shower was not installed properly and Allphase was the only company we hired to install/reset the shower unit two times, we desire assistance and mediation from Revdex.com to obtain a refund for costs associated with these two repairs which never resolved the water damage in the bathroom Dear Allphase, We are in receipt of the response confirming Allphase's position that Allphase contractors installed the shower correctly and "to contact a basement foundation company to inspect your foundation for any possible defects or issues..." Per Allphase's recommendation, we obtained an inspection of Allphase's work as well as another assessment of the cause of the water damage Accordingly, please see attached letter from [redacted] regarding the cause of the water damage; as well as the email from our insurance agent [redacted] confirming Allphase contractors removed/reset the shower two timesDespite Allphase allegations several contractors have performed work on the shower unit, please be advised [redacted] claims prove Allphase was the only restoration company hired and paid over $to work on the shower (as evidenced by the three claims with [redacted] October 2011-June 2012)After water damage continued to occur in and Allphase refused to assume responsibility for improper installation of the shower, we were left with no option than to file the final claim with [redacted] , resulting in us having to pay an additional $in repairs Sincerely, [redacted] May your day be filled with the Peace of the Holy Spirit [redacted] I just received confirmation my complaint was received and being processedI am writing to provide attachments to include with my complaintPlease review pictures taken by [redacted] from Allphase showing water damage/mold in our bathroom in and compare with current pictures taken by our [redacted] Agent, [redacted] in I am filing the complaint because, despite two repairs from Allphase 2011-costing us over $2,as well as an increase in our homeowner's insurance policy, the issue was never resolved until September by [redacted] ! [redacted] informed us that water damage was from an improper installation of the shower and faulty sealingThis was the work previously completed by Allphase contractors onlyWe are now concerned about an additional increase in our homeowner's policy for having to file this additional claimMy husband and I desire any assistance you may provide how to handle this issue I contacted Allphase (Mr [redacted] ***) in to try to resolve the issue and am enclosing his response below From: [redacted] *** [redacted] [redacted] Sent: Saturday, August 17, 9:PM Subject: Re: Basement Restoration Good Evening [redacted] , I am in receipt of your recent messagePlease provide me with a time next week that someone is available for us to come by and do a moisture checkThis one moisture check will be free of chargeAny additional work that may be required will be billed hourlyI do need to clarify that the warranty that was referenced in your last communication, was only for year and it expired May 31, Well before we were notified of any possible issues With that said, It is doubtful that any current water/moisture issues are a result of the work we performed We simply reset the shower liner and panWhich is a pretty easy installationWe also went above and beyond the regular install and applied a rubber liner under the panIt is highly unlikely that there are any leaks coming from the shower stall, as it is a solid fiberglass unitAdditionally any leak from the pan would also have to go up and over the rubber liner, which is highly unlikelyThis leads me to believe you have some other issues not addressed by our workIf this is the same problem that you were experiencing before it very possible that the moisture intrusion was not caused by anything we looked at, or addressed, and thus may still need to be located and remedied Its possible that this moisture may be caused by something else entirelyMaybe the shower door is not being closed properly when showering or there may be a bigger problem related to a foundation leak, it may be advisable to contact a basement foundation company to inspect your foundation for any possible defects or issues that could be causing this problemIt is hard to conceive that now contractors cant properly set a simple shower stall We truly feel bad about this situation you are facing having to deal with this againAs you can appreciate, leak detection is sometimes very difficult and often requires a lot of trial and error before a permanent solution is found I understand the last contractor was sued for possible defective work, but am unsure of the final outcomeWe too were pressured into doing a lot of free work last time for a problem I don't even believe is related to our work Regretfully we are therefore, very reluctant to initiate any new remodeling or repair services at the property The litigious tendencies involved and the difficulty we experienced trying to collect for new work that was clearly not part of our original job, will make it very difficult to do any new workI don't believe we would be a good fit working for you again, and so we would like avoid doing anymore work at your homeIf you would still want the free moisture inspection just to determine if there is still a possible problem we will be glad to oblige however that will be the extent of the work we wish to do Again it is highly unlikely that this can be directly linked to any defect in the work that we performed, since it was also happening prior to our work (and after shower stall installations by different people and different highly certified plumbing contractors), additionally we are passed the warranty period that was mutually agreed tooThank you for your time and I will wait to hear back from you as to whether you want the free inspection or not

Thank you for the opportunity to address this complaintIt is accurate the work did take longer than originally expected due to Plumbing issues with both the shower and the toiletThese were unforeseen issues and we're not noticed until demo was complete, in addition the final week we were there we were still waiting for his wife to make decisions on placement of soap dishes and other add-ons for the showerWith respect to credits, the initial invoice, has already been changedAllphase already credited the customer for any items not completedThe General manager Tim did try to contact the customer on several occasions and received no response which is why we sent to collectionsMost recently our operations manager tried calling the homeowner on the phone to work things out, but was sent directly to voicemail without any callbackThe homeowner then sent an email on 9/11/to Allphase detailing additional requested discounts and the reasons whyUnfortunately the homeowner never took into consideration the substitute items that were usedBelow is a list of estimate items that are being disputed by the homeowner, we have explained why the items are not being creditedFor example:Item #and Item #20- Backer Board...........Backer board was sold, purchased and installed as the customer requested tile to be installed that he was providingAfter backer was installed, the customer supplied us with a Luxury Vinyl TileAt no extra charge we took up the backer board and replaced with a more expensive wood underlayment (we left the lesser priced backer board price on the estimate).Item #18- Vanity.............Allphase ordered, paid for and installed the vanity the customer picked outThe customer selected vanity was a premium grade cabinet and more expensive than the vanity quoted in the estimate, Allphase did not charge any additional money for thisItem #23- Labor minimum on carpetThis is a standard line item for any carpeting work, that was a part of the estimate the customer reviewed and agreed to prior to signing the contract However, Allphase is willing to discount that amount since the carpet removal was very minimalThat reduces the bill by $We will therefore, discount the final price by that amount ($200.29), which bring the total due to $3,Please note as mentioned above, all of the items being disputed now were all on the estimate that was reviewed, accepted and signed off on by the homeownerWe believe this is a fair compromise and addresses any issues with the estimate

Thank you for reaching out to Allphase Restoration and Construction, and allowing us an opportunity to resolve this issueAt Allphase we strive to always exceed our customers' expectations and are committed to continuously providing the highest level of service available to our customers It seems we have failed to accomplish that level of service with this particular jobA trusted and historically reliable subcontractor did not show up for the work as scheduled and the communication was not adequateThus we have refunded the deposit to the client and closed out the contract We complete thousands of jobs per year and although the vast majority are completed to the clients satisfaction, we will not always be perfect, but will do whatever it takes to correct any errors and resolve any issues that may ariseOur apologies again for falling short of our clients and our own expectations on this occasion

I am rejecting this response because:It contains multiple inaccuracies.1. Plumbing issues did not cause this remodel to take 4 time longer than quoted. The toilet couldn't be move for structural reasons as far as desired. Allphase contacted me directly and I told them to move it as far as they could which in total was 9 inches. It was a 3 minute phone conversation which they immediately took action on and completed that day. The only other plumbing issue was the shower pan that was picked out wouldn't fit because of a vent pipe. A decision to go to a plastic shower pan was made within an hour. Allphase ordered the replacement and had it in within a few days. 2. There was no soap dish, there are 3 shelves in the corner of the shower that Allphase took days to install because they wouldn't ask my wife (who was in the house) where she wanted them.3. It took 72 days for Tim to contact me. Work stopped May 23rd. I received a text message from Tim on August 3rd requesting to meet regarding final payment. I informed Tim that wasn't necessary and to send me a bill for the work completed. Tim emailed me the bill on August 15th. I responded August 17th again expressing my displeasure. Allphase never responded. September 9th I received a letter from collections and also received a voicemail from manager Hassan. I have not called Hassan back because once Allphase contacted collections all conversations need to be documented. I did email him what I think is fair compensation on September 11th. He responded later that day by attacking my character for filing my complaint and submitting my review of his company on the BBB. To say that I haven't responded is completely falseRegards, [redacted]
