Review: I brought my vehicle to Tony C[redacted]'s business to request a quote on repair work. The vehicle failed NYS inspection that was done at another company, Friendly Honda in Pleasant Valley, NY. My reason for getting quotes was to lower my expense. Mr. C[redacted] verbally quoted a price of $260.00 which covered parts and labor. I immediately agreed to this price since Friendly Honda quoted a price of $360.00 plus tax. I told Mr C[redacted] about the price Friendly Honda quoted and he said, "Oh that's way too much for that job". I told Mr. C[redacted] that I didn't have the money today and I would bring the car by on Friday, 7/**/15, when I get paid. When I brought the car in on Friday, Mr. C[redacted] needed to be reminded of our conversation from the other day. Mr. C[redacted] stated he would have the job done in about 2 hours. I called after the 2 hours but the car was not ready. Mr C[redacted] stated the car was being worked on now because he just got the part in. Approximately 2 hours later, I received a call from Mr. C[redacted] stating the vehicle is ready. When arrived to pick up my car, the counter person handed me a bill for $393.94. I disputed the bill letting them know I was originally quoted $260.00. The counter person stated that the part cost more which is the reason for the price increase. After complaining to Mr. C[redacted] about my unhappiness and also allowing my wife to complain while on speaker phone, Mr. C[redacted] dropped the price to $350.00 which I am still unhappy about but paid because they threatened to not release the car if I didn't pay the $350.00. To add insult to injury, Mr. C[redacted] put new windshield wipers on the car in which he stated were needed to pass inspection. Windshield wipers was not listed on the original inspection report from Friendly Honda for reason of failure. Mr C[redacted] charged $30.00 for wipers.Desired Settlement: I would like the $90.00 overcharge refunded to me. That is the difference in the original $350.00 price I paid and the $260.00 original quote.
