Good morning, [redacted] emailed me on Friday, July 24th at 11:a.m to let me know her refund had been placed into her account A previous email from [redacted] on 7/at 2:p.mstated "when the refund has actually gone through your hands in into my account, then it will be done." Since the refund has been processed, we consider this matter closed.Thank you, [redacted]

In October, you had contacted us about a sign that needed to be repaired DaNite staff dispatched a service tech to take pictures and assess the damages Typically this type of work is billed to cover the cost of the service tech and equipment Shortly after the survey was completed our Service Manager left the company at the close of the year Unfortunately, that gap between Service Managers may have caused a breakdown in communication In February of this year our team sent a quote to repair the sign directly to you as well as a proposal to build a new one Since site surveys are typically billed to clients, in March our accounts receivable department spoke with Francis and she advised us that you had not paid because you had not received the quoteWe then provided Francis the original quote email The collection attempts are a standard process for aging accounts in order to promote conversation in regards to paying an outstanding invoice I'm sorry that this happened and appreciate you expressing your concerns on this as it gives me a chance to tighten our processes and training Clearly, looking back, our collection efforts should have considered the possibility of miscommunications during the transition of service managers The invoice will be credited and written documentation of the adjustment provided In addition, I'd like to offer you 25% off any service for the balance of the year up to a total discount of $ DaNite Sign Cohas enjoyed over years of helping businesses make their businesses more attractive through signage I hope you'll let us continue to do the same for you Scott A [redacted] | DaNite Sign Co| Sales Manager Office: [redacted] Harmon Avenue , Columbus, OH | www.DaNiteSign.com DESIGN.BUILD.INSTALL.SERVICE

Good afternoon,After meeting personally with *** *** at the *** Grocer store in ***, OH on 7/21/at p.mthe day we received the complaint from the Revdex.com, I offered as a resolution on behalf of DaNite Sign Company $off their purchase, $in service, and and additional
year warranty *** *** who was not present at the meeting but was on cell phone speaker said she wanted the entire projected completed for their down payment amount (which was half of the total amount of the project) That amount ($3,250.00) was far less than what DaNite would have in labor and materials, so we were unable to accommodate that request So the customers decided they wanted their money back DaNite processed a full refund on 7/(see attached receipt) As of today (7/23) I understand from emailing back and forth with *** that their account has not been credited yet, our bank tells us the refund should post to their credit card within days *** said she would let me know when the refund posts to her account.I would like to mention a few items:1) first we are sorry we were unable to meet this customers expectations, regardless of this Revdex.com compliant.2) *** signed a contract on 6/2/with DaNite for signage that was supposed to be installed some***e the week of 7/ On 7/*** was emailed that DaNite would not be installing her sign until the week of 7/ Since we did not hear back from her right away, we thought this was okay We did not hear back from her for weeks until (7/16), but still did not tell us that the week of 7/install was going to be a problem She did say in her email on 7/that "some sort of discount would be nice seemings how this is taking much longer than what was originally discussed."3) I (*** ***) talked to *** *** on Friday 7/at which ***e he told me he was thinking of cancelling I asked if his store was open or if it would be opening on or before the week of 7/and he said he did not think so, but that he thought he would like a refund of his deposit I told him that maybe he should think about it over the weekend and we would talk on Monday 7/ *** called me before I had a chance to call him on Monday and said he wanted his deposit back I told him I would look at the job in our business system to determine what ***e we had invested in the job and would give him a refund less that amount He asked if we he decided to stay with us if we could still install the week of the 27th and I said yes Our ***e invested to that point in this job amounted to $1, I told *** his refund would be around $1,and he said his wife would not be happy and I would have to deal with her I thought we would at least have another conversation, but the next thing we knew, *** filed a Revdex.com complaint and wrote a bad review about DaNite on our Facebook page We were very surprised and saddened that she took that approach rather than talking to us.DaNite is not perfect, but we do our best to get it right In business for over years, we are fortunate to have hundreds -- probably thousands of happy customers In this case, it's is a lose - lose situation We do wish the *** success with their new store when it opens.Sincerely,*** ***
