I came across the ad from Allstar Moving/Allways Moving advertising, a moving special of $48.99 per hour and I thought this is a great deal, since I have acquired a lot of expenses with moving. So I called the moving company and receive a quote of $300 - $350 for a complete move, which should take 4 – 5 hours.
I requested 3 movers because I did have a piano that needed to be moved. The movers were not going to wrap anything because they didn’t seem like it was necessary. We stated we didn’t want our stuff scratched, so we would like them to wrap it. We stated we wanted them to tear down the beds and they said they didn’t have the tools for that. Isn’t this a moving company and should have the tools to take the items apart? So my husband and I are scrambling to take everything apart. The movers bought three dollies and two are not working properly. Then they go to move one of the dressers with a dolly and the wheel bounces off and the back of the dresser falls apart. They are taking longer than except which I took into consideration that it may take them a little longer, so I did budget for another hour. After getting attitude from one of the movers when they get to the new house that they have to move the washer and dryer to the 2nd floor, my bill is ready to review. I am being charged $704.00. I said wait a minute!!! My quote was for $350. He said I charged you $150 for the shrink wrap, another $49.00 for stairs and 7 hours. No one stated I would get these extra charges and I am being charged double from what the quote was. I tried to call the company and everyone is now rude and not returning my calls. Funny, now that they have my money, they don’t care about what happened. I don’t recommend this company, at all and should have gone with a different moving company. I didn’t think I would pay $704.00 to move a mile down the road.

I hired AllStar moving and Storage to handle my Mother's move out of her Sun City home on Saturday September 13th 2014. A week before the incident I called and cancelled the move for two reasons. The 1st reason being the bad Revdex.com rating and all the complaints about them I found after hiring them. The second reason was the movers I originally wanted to use became available. Two days before the move I called again to confirm the move was cancelled. A woman on the phone at AllStar showed they had no move scheduled under my name or my mothers name for the address I gave them. On the day of the move they showed up at the house anyways. Not realizing they weren't the other moving company I had them start loading. It was only 15 minutes into the loading when I realized they were the wrong company. I told them they shouldn't be here because I cancelled the move twice unfortunately I should have demanded an email indicating the cancellation. They called their office and a woman on the phone informed me they called to confirm the move the day prior and it was approved. I didn't believe them and I asked why they would call to confirm a move that was already cancelled? It didn't make sense. She told me they have no information on the cancellation but I believe they were lying and trying to bully in on the move. I told the movers not to load anything else. The woman on the phone demanded I pay her $50.00 for gas. I told her I would dispute that and if they want they could bill me and argue about it later. She got really rude and kept demanding me to pay the movers and said the movers will be there all day until I pay them. I told them no and she said she was going to call the Police. I told her to go again and call them but I wasn't paying her anything at this time. She then called the movers and told them the police would not come because it was a civil matter. I then had to unload the truck myself of the few items that were loaded. I believe AllStar Moving and Storage knew the move was cancelled and intentionally tried to bully their way in on the move.
