Allstate Builders - Remodeling

Review: I paid this company to build my porch and steps. They did a terrible job . I asked another contractor and the other contractor said that Allstate had put the wood for the steps down wrong and that it was a safety hazard. The steps are retaining water when it rains and it's causing them to bow. It's only been 3 months since they were done. I contacted Ed D[redacted] (owner of Allstate) and he insisted that it was not their fault and the job was done right. According to several other people including another contractor this is not true. Allstate builders has now blown me off for about 2 weeks now.Desired Settlement: I would like Allstate Builders to repair the issue that they caused, but now I'm scared that they may mess up again or do damage. I'm not sure what to do quite frankly.

Review: I entered a contract to replace the gutters and downspouts on the front of my House in March of 2000. Immediately, I had phoned Allstate Builders and Remodeling in October, November and December of 2000; Jan., March,May and November of 2001. In May of 2001 Allstate's [redacted] phoned back and advised that my work was a priority. The work was never done. Several more phone calls were made; mostly leaving messages that weren't answered or returned. Every year since then I phoned, them again and again and also in June 2014 and finally speaking to [redacted] on March 2 2015. He said that my gutters were installed 15 years ago and I told him that I've been calling and he's been promising to fix them for 15 years. He then became indignant and asked me to phone him after St. Patricks day of 2015, because he has no winter crew. I phoned back on March 23, left another message and then on March 28 leaving yet another message; no returned phone calls. My gutters continually leak. I had two contractors look at them; the Amish and [redacted] from [redacted] both advised that the gutters were installed incorrectly to begin with and weren't even catching water rolling off the roof. The inside and outside corners always leaked and are right over the driveway so in the winter; it's a sheet of ice. I tried to give [redacted] and Allstate the benefit of the doubt and to trust peoples word that they will do what they say. In this case [redacted] refuses to comply with his own written warranty. I'm at my wits. Please help!Desired Settlement: Just fix what you warranted and be done with it! Honor your word!
