Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I did more then tell Allstate I was shopping aroundI told them that I no longer wanted their services because I was unhappy with how things were workingI told them to absolutely cancel my policy with them because I already purchased a policy with [redacted] To which the people at Casey's office said okay we will cancel your policy and you won't be charged anymoreThen they tried to charge me again, for a policy that to my understanding no longer existed with themWhen I called Allstate on the number and at Caseys office they told me that all I had to do was provide them with proof of my [redacted] policy, and the charge would be removed, which I didThe people at Allstate said that the charge should be removed and there should be no further issues and she apologized that everything had been so messed up in the first placeCasey's office told me that my policy supposedly didn't exist with [redacted] and kept trying to charge me, after the Allstate representative said that the issue was taken care ofI have been with [redacted] and am still with [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern,             Our office recently received a complaint in regards to the billing of [redacted]. Attached are the notes from our office and a breakdown of her billing. As you will see in our customer notes as they...

correspond with the billing we made several attempts to get in touch with Ms. [redacted] in regards to her payments not being made so we could either cancel her policies per her request, or give her the opportunity to make payment to avoid any lapse in coverage. Ms. [redacted] mentions that she paid in November she is correct in that, but she also did not make a full payment.       Allstate was making a monthly withdraw from Ms. [redacted]’s account you can see in our billing notes it was the 15th of every month, nothing was pulled early or late. According to our records there was no indication that she had intensions of cancellation of a specific date in December. Without a specific date we do not make a cancellation. When a customer states that they are, “shopping around.” We simply see what we can do to save the customer and if that is not an option then we keep the policy active until the insured has given us notification to cancel. We did not receive a notice of cancellation from the new insurance provider so we have no way of knowing that the insured has obtained coverage elsewhere. Allstate made phone calls, sent emails, and sent correspondence through the mail to notify Ms. [redacted] of termination, and past due payment.  Thank you,Kalli M[redacted]Kuckert Agency Office ManagerTell us why here...

When I called Allstate on the 1800 number and at Caseys office they told me that all I had to do was provide them with proof of my [redacted] policy, and the charge would be removed, which I did. The people at 1800 Allstate said that the charge should be removed and there should be no further issues and she apologized that everything had been so messed up in the first place. Casey's office told me that my policy supposedly didn't exist with [redacted] and kept trying to charge me, after the Allstate representative said that the issue was taken care of. I have been with [redacted] and am still with [redacted].
