Brad and the team at Video Conversion Experts did an excellent job scanning my family's Super 8mm movie films to 1080p .AVI files for editing! Their sprocketless scanner did the best possible job handling my film's sloppy splices and torn sprocket holes, short of hand-aligning each frame individually, which would have taken forever, and their Auto Color technology masterfully compensated for my vast in-camera differences in the film's color and brightness, resulting in scanned images that in many shots look BETTER than how I remember the film looking when it was projected! As a professional cinematographer myself, I'm extremely critical of image quality, and I'm aware of the pitfalls and limitations of converting film, a medium with wide exposure lattitude and dynamic range, to the more limited medium of video, and these transfers continually exceed my expectations VCE's online ordering service and shipping using [redacted] is smooth and timely as well Wonderful operation! My experience with this company has been totally positive They answered all my questions before I submitted my movies They delivered exactly when promised and were very professional thru every step of the wayAnd the final product was superb! Amazing quality considering they had my very old faded movie tapes to work with It isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for and aren't our film memories priceless? I found out about this company through an internet searchI selected Video Conversion Experts to convert rolls of Kodacolor 16mm silent film dating from 1974-Not exactly the usual type of "family movies", the films were taken when my young family was on a long-term job assignment in Johannesburg, SAfricaBrad and VCE did a superb job of bringing this seldom-seen piece of family history back to life so we and our descendants can all enjoy themAs a retired video/audio professional engineer, I can recommend the high quality of this firm's work without reservationThe cost was reasonable and the service was prompt

What a fabulous business where memories can be restored and cherished for their customers!!! I had my Daddy's old mm film from and restored After my parents died, I had old boxes of film and no way to view the contents Although Daddy wasn't the best photographer and his movies weren't perfect, the folks at Video Conversion Experts combined the old reels and made a flash drive that enables me to once again see my parents as young vibrant people going about enjoying vacations in Ireland and at the beach and the fun we shared as a family You can't put a price on the moments in time that were returned to me I still get emotional just thinking about how they restored my memories I can't say enough about the company and the work they did for me They were kind enough to talk me through the order process and returned my film and flash drive in a very prompt manner Their work is amazing, considering what they had to work with (year old improperly stored mm film) Thank you Video Conversion Experts for a wonderful, excellent job
My parents had over Super film reels that I wanted digitized After doing a lot of research on companies, I came upon Video Conversion Experts I knew nothing about the process for digitizing film, so I called Video Conversion Experts to learn more I spoke with Brad and I can't say enough on how helpful he was in answering all my questions If I didn't understand something he was explaining to me, he patiently explained it to me in another way He never once made me feel like I was asking a stupid question and never rushed me off the phone I also was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise I ended up learning more on my own about the complications of digitizing film and he was right on point with everything I really liked all the options Video Conversion Experts offer as well Once you understand the options, getting a quote and creating an order is very simple on their website The cost was a factor for us, so we ended up sending reels to get digitized initially We opted for the Pro 2K scan with color and grain restoration and chose an HD-MPformat My dad has poor eyesight, so while leaving grain may add to the charm of old films (from the late 60s to early 80s), it would have made it much more difficult for my dad to see the images The end result was amazing! The Pro 2K scan, removal of grain, color correction, and HD-MPformat was well worth the extra cost I highly recommend Video Conversion Experts to anyone wanting to convert their Super film to digital By the way, I live in NH and the company is based out of Arizona Brad told me how to ship the film and we had no issues whatsoever
