SLOW RESPONSE IN GETTING MY VEHICLE TOWED TO GERBER COLLISION A REPAIR CENTER
My vehicle was struck and badly damaged on 20 June 21 claim #0630305050. I contacted Allstate and requested that it be towed to Gerber collision in oak lawn il. I gave them the location of where it was located mega towing @ 9259 s Ashland ave Chicago and to pick it up there. It was not picked until 18 days later on 8 July. During this time 3 heavy rainfalls occurred and went into the interior of my vehicle damaging it more. I received a call from a towing company stating they would like to pick up my vehicle and tow it to Gerber collision on 6 July but could not find it in Creve Coeur il. That town is 166 miles from where my vehicle was. I don't know what happened there. I informed the tow company that my vehicle was in Chicago at 9259 s Ashland. Somehow someway it was finally corrected and picked up by Gerber collision. At any rate the rental vehicle that was provided to me has a 30 day limit and to me it should extended another 18 days because someone dropped the ball here. My vehicle sat in a lot for that length of time before someone woke up and did their job

I signed up for a home owner's insurance policy effective in October 2019. I just received a notice, dated Aug. 14, 2020, that my policy will not be renewed.
The reason given was my house needs paint and some minor cosmetic repairs. I'm aware of and plan to get this work done as soon as I can.
What I do not understand is why this matters to my insurance company. This is a very solid structure and there is not safety or liability issues. In other words no chance of this leading to any claims filed on the policy.
This "notice of non-renewal" makes no sense to me. It puts a burden on me to find another issue provider before this one expires.
this whole deal seems very wrong and unfair. This is a terrible way to treat a customer!

I have had Allstate for homeowners and auto insurance for over 3 years and never had an issue until I needed to make a change to my policy.
I called in January 2020 to have one car removed and homeowners changed to renters insurance. I was told that the entire old policies would need to be cancelled and a new one with my current needs would be made. That was fine, however for the next 2 months I was charged double because the orginal policy had not been cancelled properly. Also, fine mistakes happen.
What is not okay is that it is now mid August 2020 and I have still not recieved my refund of over $320 and whenever I call no one seems to have any idea what is going on and cannot explain to me why. I've been promised a call back several times that hasn't happened and my issue continues to go unresolved.
I am very frustrated and disappointed at the lack of efficiency in taking care of this matter. It makes no sense to me that I've been waiting this long to get my money back.

I have billing set up on auto pay and noticed a payment had been returned. I am not sure why the payment was returned. Upon contacting Allstate, they verified that the amount owed was $97.46 and I immediately corrected the payment. My next bill now has an additional $25 "cancellation fee" on it. Upon calling Allstate I was informed that this was due to a cancelled payment. I never cancelled a payment or requested Allstate cancel a payment. I was never informed of this charge before bringing the account up to date. This is a highly deceptive practice. The name on the insurance account is Michele Trinker, however, all payments are made through my bank account.

I am rejecting this response because the name on the bank account drafted for this bill is mine. I will keep this complaint open until the financial side of this complaint are resolved, including the last payment of $97.46 drafted from the bank account under my name being returned to the account. Additionally, I need a representative from Allstate to contact me IMMEDIATELY to ensure further drafts attempts are not made from MY bank account. The bank has been notified any additional attempts by Allstate to withdraw money from the account will be denied.

Furthermore, an additional complaint will be filed with the Revdex.com under the name of the insured regarding the cancellation of the policy. :

I used Allstate's website to get a quote for auto insurance. They quoted me $265.78 +mileage for 6 months. I paid $80 down to start the policy on 3/31/20. My payments SHOULD HAVE BEEN $30.96 per month for the remaining 5 months of the policy. Instead, I have been charged $93 every single month since then.

Due to the pandemic, I worked from home from March 18 to May 18 and almost never left my house. I have their Milewise tracker in my SUV and an insurance agent confirmed that I had driven very few miles. So, there should not be “extra” charges for mileage from the time I started this policy until at least, May 18 because I was not leaving my house. Yet I received $93 charges every month.

On May 18, I went back to work and began driving 20 miles a day to work and back, but I was still charged $93 per month, which is the exact same amount when I was not driving my auto at all.

It is obvious that this company is not actually looking at mileage to charge customers as they claim. They used a low ball quote to entice me to sign up for a policy, then began drastically overcharging me.

To date, I have been charged $442. If they charge me another $93 in September, that will total $535 in charges for a policy that they quoted at $265.78. They will have charged me more than TWICE what they quoted.

In Apr 2020, I contacted the agent that Allstate assigned to me to complain about the monthly charge. She told me that she tells people not to buy this policy because people are over charged. Then, she gave me the 800 number for Allstate’s main office so they could "explain" how they calculate mileage. But I didn't have any mileage because I was not leaving my house due to the pandemic. She did not offer to help get my money back or explain the outrageous overcharges.

I was involved in a vehicle accident caused by their policy holder on 7/31/2020, its been 2 weeks since the accident and Allstate has failed to complete their appraisals to have work started on my car, the collision repair shop calls me angry because the car is in pieces on their floor and they have reached out several times with no feedback. I have made more than 20 calls to several Allstate employees for action with no luck. The car is a BMW 750i and they told me they will pay only $22.70/day for a rental preferably at Enterprise I went there and the cheapest car I could get was $30.09/day. Allstate is dragging their feet and it costing me daily for their blatant disregard to professionalism. many of their phones will not accept voice messages.

They jack your payments up because they tell you how many mile you drive your car. I hope other people will look into that. Even when I sent in my mileage they still said I drove more mileage that noted. Allstate does business to charge you more. Never will use them again.

We lost our engagement ring. Allstate paid out $10,000 in claim damages. We told them throughout that it’s possible we could find the ring and they verbally assured us if that happened we could return the new ring. We did find the new ring a few months later, but Allstate went back on their word. Now they are demanding the original ring or $10,000 that we don’t have. All we want is to give them the new ring instead of the original like they said we would be able to do. We are not trying to profit from this situation, and we were honest with them that we found the original. We are devastated.

I had a full coverage policy with Allstate when an uninsured motorist rear ended me, this accident injured my back FOR LIFE! I have had multiple medial branch blocks and other injections to no avail. My Dr's have referred me for a spinal cord stimulator.
My Dr's ( multiple different doctors, ranging from primary care, orthopedic specialists, spine specialist to procedural pain management specialist ) have ALL given written opinions & stated I will NOT get better but infact, get worse, I will have a lifetime of pain and am unable to work FT Only being able to work up to PT with intense restrictions!
My lovely Allstate adjustor has continued to request more & more documents & we've provided everything requested for him to get the documents & then come up with more requests and reasons not to pay my policy!! I pay them a high premium to cover me in the event of an accident!! An accident that I'm at no fault they put me through more hell & aren't taking care of me!! ARE YOU IN GOOD HANDS..... ummmm NO!!! Farrrr from good hands & I wouldn't recommend Allstate to ANYONE!
I have cancelled my policy recently as I don't want to give them another dime!! I replaced my policy & went somewhere that I will be taken care of if a future accident were to occur!!

Allstate, or All-snake? I was hit by an Allstate insured drive, at no fault of mine. This company refuse to provide me with a rental car. So I'm paying for a rental car out my pocket, so that I can get around. Do to the extra money spent on renting a car, I couldn't afford to all my bills. And now my water, lights and internet is do to be shut off, because if this. I filed a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance, but haven't receive a repose yet. Folks, we need to get together and put these crooks out business. We are NOT-IN GOOD HANDS.

My Home insurance claim has been one of the most mis-managed process ever experienced. First, They leave it up to you to manage everything. Very much a hands off policy from start to finish. The adjusters do absolutely nothing to manage the claim properly and they play this cat and mouse game to treat you like you are a criminal. They interrogate you and your contractors to wits end. They came to my home for 7 onsite visits. I am 4.5 months in and still have no repairs completed. I have a hole in my roof and they penny pinch the negotiation and approval process of your claim. I have never seen so many layers of bureaucracy. I have received derogatory comments directed towards me during conversations with the adjusters that shocked me. You submit a complaint and they could care less. Most companies have a no tolerance for derogatory comments and they brush it off like it is acceptable and permitted. You call your agent and they say they cant do anything...Talk to claims. You call claims and they say call your adjuster but they dont answer you. It's a complete mess from start to finish. Now, The adjuster is completely refusing coverage because he feels it fits a certain category but the entire insurance industry and other Allstate agents agree with my stance of how it should be classified. The corruption with how this is getting handled, so they can find every avenue to not be responsible for this loss is beyond me.

I requested a quote online from Allstate as well as quotes from several other companies. I NEVER told Allstate I was choosing them for my insurance. However, they sent me a policy, began sending me bills, and even sent an insurance adjuster to my house to review the property. I told the insurance adjuster I did not have insurance with Allstate. Now they have turned the "debt" over to Credit Collection Services and I am having to deal with them to get this removed from my record. I am very wary of requesting insurance quotes online after this experience.

Our neighbor’s unit in our condo has been going under renovation. On July 10, their contractors cut through our walls by mistake. The damage left one long cut and five holes on our sheetrock wall and damaged our oriental rug which was placed underneath which I purchased for $4,000. I filed a claim through our insurance with Allstate on the 12th. Our insurance agent is Kevin *** and claim contact person is Stephanie ***. She started with our claim and got me an estimate of $1,351.63 ($851.63 after deductible) She said the rug can’t be insured although I had $102,000 coverage for personal property. Our agent never informed me about the limitation of the coverage. Stephane recommended me to accept $851.63 in order to start a subrogation process and if our contractor has a higher estimate, she will review and address any supplemental items. Her estimate seemed to be very low to have the damage fixed and I received two estimates from two contractors. I emailed Stephanie with lower estimate of the two which was $550 higher than hers. I also sent her a subrogation form on the 17th. Since then, I’ve emailed and called her multiple times to follow up but have never heard from her.

My problem at hand is that this is a Allstate to Allstate claim and the Claims Department is handling my case awfully. A director Jeff *** was very misleading in our conversations. It has been a ridiculous long drown out process where the claims Supervisor Sherri and Jeff *** has been very much so prejudice against my claim. That’s stated because they have only taken into consideration my car damages and the body shop they are contracted with pricing. They have tried to be intimidating with their scare tactics of saying what they want pay for when the other insured party is with Allstate, therefore they are not reviewing the facts of my claim and the injuries I sustained. The investigation needs to be thoroughly investigated because I sustained damages I am still suffering from and they have not took that into consideration. They have saved over $20,000 in medical bills with my assistance and has not wanted to pay me hardly anything when they stated on recording they would review my claim accordingly. I have been compared to other cases and talk to unprofessionally. I believe Allstate Claims Department shound be under investigation.

On January of 2020, I filed a claim for a thieving of my apartment. The total valued of lost item was over 15000+, ive provided picture evidence, receiept evidence, picture evidence of me holding the bag,bank statement, policy report, and all the wiretransfer to the sales that purchased the item at the time from me. There are money that my fianced let me borrow but the adjuster refused to compensate for those saying I have no proof of paying back. I've Provided phone number and wire transferred to him. Why is that other people who have the same situation that I spoke with can get compensated without even a receipt?

A driver insured by Allstate ran a stop sign and crashed my 2020 F350 dual rear wheel truck. Allstate claim number ***. Allstate refuses to continue to pay for the rental truck, didn't inform me of this, I only found out when I saw my credit card bill. Rental company charged $3500 to my credit card. I turned in the rental, now have no truck to drive, their insured driver's negligence, they admit fault. Allstate won't return calls or answer emails in a timely manner.

An unlicensed insured for this company caused a collision that damaged by 8-month old Jeep Grand Cherokee, damaging the rear bumper and lift gate. A claim was filed (Claim #***) for the damages. They have estimated for a conventional repair, using filler, to complete the repairs to my lift gate. I have explained that the vehicle had no filler on it prior to the loss, and therefore filler would not be an acceptable repair for the vehicle. The rep confirmed that the repair reflected would not return the vehicle to 100% pre-loss condition, but cited 'cost-saving measures' and that it is considered 'an industry standard repair.' If the repairs would not return the vehicle to 100% pre-loss condition, then it is not the appropriate repair. I requested they replace the rear lift gate, which they have refused to do. I even suggested salvage parts (obtaining the part from a totaled vehicle, but was undamaged) - they refused. The rep was even condescending during our discussion, stating "now everyone says 'lawyer, lawyer' at this point, but getting a lawyer will only frustrate you further and you would lose.' At no time did I ever discuss or mention obtaining any form of representation.
The admission by their rep, that the repairs reflected in their estimate would not return the vehicle to its pre-accident condition, reflects an unfair claim handling practice. If the repairs reflected in their estimate would not return the vehicle to its pre-loss condition, then they should not be accepted. I have requested no other supplements to the repairs reflected in their estimate.

Allstate insurance is a joke. I had coverage with them for years and switched to State Farm in March because Allstate was robbing me blind with their premiums. I’m so glad I did!
Mom has Allstate Insurance (56 years) and they just “got” her for a few thousand dollars. Yesterday we had left for a few hours and when I was dropping her back home, 4 rooms were flooded from the water supply line to a toilet breaking somehow. We called and got a claim number and was given the go ahead to call ServPro. ServPro was out here in an hour. This morning Allstate adjuster called and said her policy didn’t cover this and refused her claim.

WHY would her agent tell her she has a policy that covers anything that could damage her home??
WHY would Allstate have someone assign claim numbers and approve work without verification of coverage??
Now she’s left, as most elderly people are, on a fixed income with these bills.

What an awful experience claiming damage on my house! I have to complaint against my closest neighborhood CRIMINAL INSURANCE .. ALLSTATE "you are in "fraudulent" hands". I trust them with my home and auto insurance. I never had to use them, unfortunately always is a first time. My roof is damaged, needs to be replaced, they think with $3800 I can repair a roof on a 1600 feet house. This is a rip off , fraudulent, unethical company when you need them show who they really are in the worst of times, Now my options are to cancel the claim or as the adjuster told me keep 3K in your pocket and let your house rotten, commit fraud and probably damaged my reputation , my house and probably I'll end in jail (implied)
Any part of the house its covered isn't it? my bedroom ceiling got water damage (the reason I make my claim) the adjuster decide not cover it because it will be costly, I hear the conversation between their contractor who visit my house and the adjuster so he decided to find an excuse no to cover the damage.
They are bunch of criminals abusing hard working families with unethical deceiving tactics. It is the insurance company to explain how this insurance works, before we sign a contract, If I knew you will rip me off the way you are you'll never get my business. ALLSTATE choose the house replacement cost (unreal) so its a higher premium and deductible in turn of the less coverage you will receive to repair the damages. What am I suppose to do now? I spoke with a the adjuster manager, Travis Morris he agreed with me, understand the problem but still he move forward with the fraud anyway (he hang up on me). I hope the Revdex.com can assist me stop their abuse and make them cover my damages 100% I don't expect anything less.
Note; multiple houses across the street from my residence are replacing their roofs, I bet they didn't have any problem with their insurances. I paid in advance for the coverage for almost twice the real cost of my house that they decided, I was hoping to avoid paying the deductible and have enough money to replace all the damage without stress me and my family, and now with todays challenges we all face this feels worse.
