Hello to all who are on this page I am also here due to a horrible service I got.. yes all calls are recorded especially when dealing with a claim department. So my "date of loss" was 02/2018. When I first spoke to the "claims" dept the man who assist me already had a lade back voice.. which I did not care I just wanted to file a report but as the state of CA or any state you must call car insurance ASAP once you're hit.. the man did not care of course he did not he's doing his job.. but when I am in pain and have to repeat stuff I am going to have a COW. Now I will apologies on my behalf but then again if allstate quotes that they are branding " you're in good hands" I think I have every right to be fired up. what made me mad at the mom was ... the fact that he was laughing at the other party who hit me .. while I was giving a description of what the accident looks like.Its very sad that people like him are in the dept.. that wasnt even the worse part my rep Bianca *** did not I repeat did not call me till maybe 2 weeks later. I already knew of the situation and what was going on the other party has no so strong insurance and he was not covered etc ... but if you can not call you're person and let them know what's going on knowing they will be left in the dark worried about there safety of my car but they said " you can get a rental" um no sorry I cant thanks for the suggestion but no thank you . I am sad to say claims dept need to all be re coached on how to treat there people .. and not giggle to there neighbor on the next desk over because that is not having any respect and the brand of "you are in good hands" just goes down south.. till this date of 02/13/18 I have not gotten my money to fix my car but yet I was the one who went to the adjuster in 1 day and got all the "dirty work done" all because some guy who just got his license was falling asleep behind the wheel. and did not have #1 license 2# registration 3 auto insurance (was not covered under policy) . will all do respect Allstate people please educate you're employees before you guys really mess with some really emotionally.

A car hit me on the freeway and took off. Because it was a hit and run it was covered under my uninsured motorist coverage. I work in a collection agency and negotiate everything so I was prepared to do battle with them, I had a figure in mind much higher than I anticipated figuring I could negotiate down but their offer was almost exactly what I had in mind so I didnt even argue. Then when I was done and they paid everything they called me and said because my car was in an accident the equity had dropped and wanted to know if they could send me an additional 2000.00 --my rate never increased and I didnt even know about the equity thing. I pay more for Allstate but I will never change, you get what you pay for!

If you are awaiting for the 'good hands' to take care of you , the wait will be long. One of their clients came into my lane and hit me, I was already in the turn lane he was going straight decided he needed to turn but I was already in the lane. ALLSTATE - the GRAB THE MONEY OUT OF YOUR HANDS has so far refused to pay. I had one call from them and it's been a month. THANKS FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Long story short my insurance had to pay for my car and we had to pay the deductible and ALLSTATE has yet to contact me again to let me know what was happening. YOU ARE A FOOL IF YOU HAVE ALLSTATE, THEY WILL FIND ANY EXCUSE NOT TO PAY... Very bad experience. My dad retired from another life insurance company. Why he took out an accident policy with this company I'll ever know. I found out about this company when they sent my deceased dad a premium bill. I contacted them to see what policy was. They wouldn't give my any information. They opened a claim and sent forms. After they received their forms, the death certificate and letter of testimentary from local court, they wouldn't tell me anything about the policy. They sent a second request for forms to be filled out. They were rude when I asked about beneficiary, value of policy etc. They said they didn't have to tell me anything. I have never seen the policy. My brother and I received checks Saturday. I am going to call them today to request a copy of the policy. I know what answer wilI be. I have never dealt with such rude people. PLEASE DON'T MISTAKE THIS COMPANY FOR Allstate the good hands people.

Allstate assessed my home and property without my knowledge and raised my premiums without my knowledge by having me pay to insure property and buildings that aren't mine and the incorrect size home along with insuring my home for more than double its appraised value. This then caused my mortgage to increase by almost 50% before the holidays. I have fought with them for almost four months to try to correct, and no changes have been made nor do I expect them in the near future.

one of all state policy holders hit my car all state refused to honer the claim they said because they could not get a hold of their client I was out of luck

Allstate has by far been the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They lie to their customers when you begin your policy, then after a month of being with the company they raise your rates and tell you how underwriting changed things on your account without your permission. They have approached this misconduct, misrepresentation and false advertisement as an "oh well" situation. It's been a month of trying to contact several people to get my issue resolved, but no one at the company wants to be bothered, no one calls you back, no one is ever at their desk to answer a phone calls. And when you do get someone on the phone they rush you off, and just want your money. It's a disgrace how no one can take responsibility for their *** up, and no one wants to address issues or correct them. How hard is it to answer a customer, or pick up a phone? Is this company so busy with complaints of unsatisfied customers that your too busy to address additional issues? This company has been nothing but hell and lies. I hope this review warns other potential customers away from the hassles that I have been going through since the beginning of December, I have spoken to a Julie who doesn't want to be bothered and prefers to send you to other peoples voicemails instead of doing her job, a Jerald who was completely rude and dismissive, an Ashley who has no idea how to do her job or what is going on, a Corinne who lied saying my issue was resolved without even talking to me, how can an issue be resolved if you have no contact with the customer to resolve your issue, this company is in breach of my contract, we agreed on a policy and then they decided that they can change it at will after a month into it and you will have to just deal with it, and they have discriminated against non married couples. Plus the CEO Thomas *** doesn't have a phone, or any way to contact him to let him know what is going on in this company, or to the board of directors.

I have been with Allstate Insurance since 1986. I have always had good service from them. For the last 20 or so years, I have had 6 cars, a utility trailer, 2 motorcycles, and 2 homes insured with Allstate. Of course they always made sure we were aware of all the perks and discounts that we were receiving by having so many vehicles and our home owners combined. There was never a reason to look outside of Allstate for insurance. I just figured with multiple policies, discounts, etc., that Allstate was the company for me. Boy was I wrong. I just looked into switching to *** insurance and I saved almost $3000/year just for the vehicles. That is unbelievable. I figured that I could save a few hundred dollars but $3000? No wonder Allstate provided us with such good service - THEY WERE RIPPING US OFF FOR OVER 20 YEARS. It really does not pay to be a loyal consumer these days. I would not recommend Allstate to anybody. Shame on you Allstate. Let the consumer beware.

Horrible service when I had them ( I was hit and they put it down as me being in fault while I was still in my driveway and the other driver admitted to hitting me because he wasn't looking. So now I have to pay extra on any policy anywhere I go) and even worse when I left. They still charged me after cancelling my policy for two months and after saying I'd be refunded within 3-4 days they didn't even put it through until a week later when I called their corporate office a second time. So thanks Allstate for making it impossible for me to pay my mortgage and by food this month with all the overdraft fees I got thanks to you.

I have the auto extended warranty from Allstate.. They have managed to make an excuse to not pay one dime for any mechanical repairs on my vehicle. Once again I am forced to pay for repairs (electrical) that should be covered.. A cost of over 450 dollars.. It has been as total ripoff. I should have cancelled it after the 1st time they refused to cover. At lea st I would have sa cad additiona l monthly payments that would h ave covered this expense... The last time the repairs cost me 1200 dollars .

If I could give 0 stars I would. I signed up for a policy with this agency quite some time ago. June of 2017 when I added a car and a driver, they decided to cancel my collision coverage on one of the other cars on my policy and not tell me. 6 months later I got into an accident and they will not admit that they made a mistake, after I told them I was going to pursue this further all of the sudden two of the other cars on my policy were now not eligible for coverage, even though they wrote the policy after asking for all the supporting details. Interestingly enough all of these issues were caused by the same individual. Would NEVER recommend them.

Very bad. they did not give me the value for my wreck with their customer. Never buy insurance from this bunch of money grabbing crooks.

I was harmed by Hurricane Harvey. My roof was severely damaged and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, my Allstate HO policy only paid a cash value based on the roof's age. This was not properly explained to me at the time I secured the policy from Allstate. Indeed, even on the day I was filing my damage claim, Allstate personnel still were insisting that my roof was covered for replacement value. But when the adjuster came and reported, it was a totally different story. Bottom line - I needed a new roof which cost me $10K, and Allstate insurance paid a whopping $600 to my claim.

STAY AWAY FROM ALLSTATE. THEY ARE A DISHONEST AND DECEITFUL COMPANY. THEY MARKET INSURANCE POLICIES WITH COVERAGE GAPS YOU CAN DRIVE A TRUCK THROUGH.

My car has been in the repair shop for two days waiting for Allstate to respond to the supplement request as the estimate that Allstate compiled was based on photos only - not examination of the damage. They were made aware last week that the supplement request would be coming. They are very quick to make calls but very slow to take action to actually complete the process.

I switched my insurance to a new company because they got me a much better rate I called Allstate Branford Ct. several weeks after the switch to make sure I did not owe them any money I was told I had a “0” balance and was all set. They then sent me to collection for a balance I was told I did not have?

I have never felt so violated in my life.
After speaking to over 20 different people, being made promises that were never kept, I called the body shop today, only to find out that Allstate had never sent an adjuster out to look at my car. My car had been in the shop since the third of January.
When I called Allstate...after speaking to four more people, I finally got a oops, our bad. My head exploded. Then, later today, they let me know that they had decided to total my car.
There is much more to this story, but the bottom line is this...If you deal with Allstate, you will get bent over.

How inept does a company have to be to not respond, not answer phone calls and voicemails?
When they do respond they act like they have never heard of the case. They are clueless about the numerous amounts of documentation that they themselves have requested. Then they ask for tax documentation that has no credence whatsoever of paying money that they know is due. Below is the account AGAIN of total ineptness.
Allstate / re-reimbursement for cost of downtime of a driver's education car
On 12/20 – 04:19 p.m. – Sabrina finally called back about the Downtime Claim
Sabrina said that she needed more documentation that there were no other cars available and what I sent was a list of schedules. Told her that the list was exactly what she asked for. It lists the cars and the schedule that they had that day, reflecting that there were no other cars available. She asked how would I be able to tell, told her at the top of the schedules it lists the cars as “P2” and so on. She asked which car was the one involved in the accident, told her it was P10 and that schedule was part of the email I sent them on 08/31.
Also said that we needed to send something in writing on what was the amount we were looking for. Told her it was sent on Aug.31 at 11:04 a.m. I asked her if she needed to be sent again and she said no she had that information. She said because of the amount we were looking for we needed to provide tax information. Told her what does she mean by tax documents? No tax document is going to list the individual car and the taxes for that vehicle, so tax documents do not make sense in this case. Told her we had a claim with Allstate in 2016 and a tax document was not used. Gave her the information on that claim she pulled it up and said that on the 2016 claim we provided a little bit of different information. She said that we provided something in writing with the number of lessons missed and the price per lesson and the total amount we were seeking. Told her that I provided that exact same information on this 2017 claim on the email I sent on 08/31/2017 at 11:04 a.m. Asked once again if she needed me to forward that to her, she said no she had it.
She asked how many days were lost and how does she know that those days are accurate. Told her the car was in the shop, meaning we could not use it, and she should be able to confirm it since they paid for the repairs.
She said she was going to talk to her manager and review the information and get back to me.
Remember this has been going on for months! How clueless is a billion-dollar company? What type of people are they hiring that can act so reckless, irresponsible, and careless? Obviously, All State.

I am a senior citizen. Allstate used unscrupulous tactics, they deliberately hid full disclosure of my yearly policy renewal statements from 201116 to 20117. They and made increases to my homeowner's insurance since 2016 from $696 to $773 to $805 to $892 all without my permission, as they kept policy renewals to themselves. They also had me on the policy view papers ( that I demanded to be sent to me) single never been married and charged me a higher homeowners insurance fee for being single.

This is by far the worst customer service and business experience I have ever had with a company personally. To start it was highly suggested that I go to *** Center after being hit by someone insured by Allstate. They quote me a 3 day repair and I call on the third day to find out they have to keep my car an extra 4 days without any warning. Was not offered or given the choice of a rental vehicle and was out of work for a week with ZERO compensation. One month after the "repair" I notice that my bumper is literally falling apart at the seams where it was cracked from being pushed into a curb. After having my case transferred to 3 different adjustors and several requests for an inspector it took MONTHS for an actual inspector to come look at my car. I had one inspector that was assigned to come out to look at my car, tell me in a voicemail that it was inconvenient to come look at my vehicle (but isn't that your job?). Finally after having a new inspector assigned to my case (almost an entire year later....) I get nothing but attitude from a grumpy old man named Al *** who was rude, judgmental, and aggressive with me. He refused to believe my situation and came to the conclusion that I had gotten in another accident and the damages weren't related, when the ONLY accident I have been in, was being hit by one of Allstate's customers. I tried contacting my most recent adjustor, Tresa *** (who is impossible to get ahold of) to request a PROFESSIONAL adjustor who I felt would give me a fair inspection, she refused. So now not only is my leased car still damaged, but I have developed extreme anxiety, lost a lot of money, and am STILL trying to get my physical therapy bills paid for. Allstate should SERIOUSLY consider a completely new business motto, like "You're in *** Hands." At one point while trying to explain my situation to one of my first adjustors, Diane *** she even asked me word for word, "Do you want me to transfer your call or not?" I have never received so much attitude and complete lack of professionalism from a business. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES ALL AROUND AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Several years ago I used Allstate for my car insurance but had to change companies because their premiums were getting too expensive. Around two years ago I went back to Allstate for car insurance and they informed me that they couldn't give me insurance because I had too many accidents. It seems that someone else's name was added to my policy with many expensive cars and many claims. My wife Karen or myself never had any of these claims. It seems like whenever we think it's resolved., it not. We really need some help.
