Other than not allowing you to violate the parking rules and regulations, can you please explain how you received poor customer service? We / Dominion Towing is contracted to enforce the parking rules and this particular vehicle was in violation of the property owner rules There is a hr time
limit in the metered spaces, once the time has exceeded, the vehicle is towedResidents do not have a time limit but they must park in a resident space. You can email me at ***@dominiontowing.comOr call ***, I will be happy to address your customer service issues.Dwight G***

The meters directly in front of the space are self-explanatoryAnytime I have ever parked in a metered space, I add money as required. In this case, the meters monitor the time, it is a 2hr maxThe directions / guidelines are posted on all meters, which are in front of every space. The complainant is claiming there is no signs indicating the garage has metered parking.....is there really a need for signs stating "metered parking'' ??In my first response, I requested the complainant to provide suggestions on signs and wording, but that was rejected.I am requesting this case be closed as invalid due to the evidence provided. Thanks,

Good Afternoon,The complainant parked their vehicle on private property in violation of the parking rules and regulations The reason was for displaying an expired permitThe complainant then chose to go back and park in the same area, still in violation, therefore, was towed again
Unfortunately there is no rule in place which allows a motorist to park illegally on private propertyAnd although the complainant would like us to make such rule- that is out of our control, we do not make the rules or lawsComplainant should contact the local government body to assist that. The disputed amount is $185, but the complainant was charged only $We reduced the tow fee by $out of kindness, simply because they were towed twice in daysDominion Towing has already acted in good faith by reducing the tow fee prior to complainant contacting the Revdex.com.Please understand that Dominion Towing tows illegally parked vehicles that have violated the parking policy of the property owner.I would be happy to discuss further and can be reached at ###-###-####. Sincerely,Dwight G***

Good Afternoon,Unfortunately I do not have record of towing from this property on the date mentioned nor this complainants namePlease have complainant provide a receipt as well as pictures of the claimed damage. Thanks,Dwight G***

Good Afternoon,I am requesting this complaint be removed from
our business profile and any negative effects associated with it. This
is accusation with no supporting evidence. The complainants
vehicle was parked directly beside a sign that states a permit is
required- see attached
photosOur trucks / drivers do not sit anywhere
and wait for calls or people to park as suggested by the complaint
Unless he / she has proof, please strike that outHowever, we do
randomly patrol private communities as required by the property owner
This particular vehicle was in a private residential / retail garage
that did not display the required parking permitThe complainant even
admits it was his fault.I have also attached other pictures to
prove this complaint is and will show several signs posted
informing motorists there is a parking permit requiredThe pillars are
painted "resident parking" as well as numerous signs posted which is
well above the state requirement. As for the complainant
suggesting or "thinking" the prices should be lower- that's like me
saying "i think the price of milk is too high"I have no supporting
information nor a clue as to what it costs to produce a gallon of milk. The
towing fees are set and regulated at the County and State level with
many requirements followingThe towing fee charged ($160) to the
complainant is within the limits by Fairfax CountyUnless the complainant can produce evidence to support his complaint- please close this case accordingly.I can be reached at ###-###-####, if you would like to discuss further.Sincerely,Dwight G***

Good Afternoon,A requirement of the parking rules and regulations when using the visitor permit, is that you can only use it for 72hrsComplainants car was towed for exceeding the time limit at *** *** Association.Since the resident was unaware, as a courtesy gesture, we released the vehicle
free of charge.I dont believe this requires further discussion but feel free to contact with any further concerns. Thanks,Dwight G*** **###-###-####

The complainants vehicle was towed for trespassing on private property without consent.  This is the first that I've heard of ''something missing'' from the vehicle.   Is it possible that the vehicle was broke into while left unattended? Complainant did not provide any specific amount or...

description of items in his compliant. Without a specific list of so called items / money that is missing, I am requesting the Revdex.com to close this case. In my opinion, the Revdex.com is not the agency to report stolen items. I would recommend contacting the local police department to resolve. If complainant would like to discuss further, I can be reached at ###-###-####.Sincerely,Dwight G[redacted]

you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
1. Copy of bill provided.2. Pictures of damage a/ to car bottom splash part, b/ to car body
Regards,
[redacted]

This particular vehicle was impounded for displaying expired license plates on private property. The [redacted] Condo association has parking rules and regulations that the residents must follow to park on the private property- see attached for rules. Please note " vehicles must DISPLAY valid...

plates / stickers. Also attached is pictures to prove that the vehicle impounded did NOT display current plates at the time of tow or the extension that complainant mentions. However, the complainant did show a renewal / plate extension when they came to retrieve the vehicle so as a courtesy we reduced the towing fee by $40. The complainant has already received a discount and have discussed this with them via phone. I would be happy to discuss further to mediate and can be reached at ###-###-####.Dwight G[redacted] II

Good Morning,The complainant was towed from private property which is split retail / residential apartments. This property is located right beside a metro parking lot. With that being said, there must be time limits in place. The area the complainant parked at has a 2 hour max as stated. However, I...

disagree with the complainants statement about no signage or instructions- see attached. The complainant parked in a space with a meter- see attached for pics. The meter has specific instructions labeled- "press button for 2hrs free". If there is a vehicle parked in meter that does not have time left on it, it is presumed that the vehicle has exceeded its time limit.  The area / garage has numerous signs posted that there is a 2hr max as well as instructions on the meters which is in every spaceI would be open to advice on where exactly the additional signs or instructions would need to be added. I can be reached at ###-###-####Sincerely,Dwight G[redacted]

The rules and regulations are provided to the residents when they receive their parking decals and sign their lease with the apartments. There is 2 separate parking areas at this particular property. One is specified for residents and the other is strictly for retail patrons that do not have a...

parking permit. if you are a resident and have a permit, you have access to more parking levels than a patron that does not have a permit. Signs are posted Complainant is not happy with the regulations BUT Dominion Towing does not make or set the rules. I believe their complaint should be addresses elsewhere. The complainant also admitted that it was his fault and parked incorrectly. However, I am willing to review the receipt to see if any reductions can be provided. Please provide the receipt to [redacted]@dominiontowing.comOr call [redacted]Dwight G[redacted]

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The pictures of the signs in the attachment do clearly state that there is 2 hour parking and towing is enforced and there are instructions on the meter which I do not dispute.  What I dispute is that there is not adequate signage or communication that the garage is metered parking.  There is nothing to indicate to the drivers that action must be taken at the meter.  Image [redacted] is posted off to the side on a door to enter into the apartment complex, not visible to retail shoppers, only complex residents entering that door.  In fact I had to search the entire level of the garage to find the sign.   I did not reset the meter because I did not have any instructions directing me to a meter.  Nor was I parked for more than 2 hours, which the cameras in the garage can prove.  The entrance to the garage advertises FREE 2 hour parking for retail customers.  It does not advertise Free 2 hour metered parking.

The vehicle was towed from the old [redacted] at [redacted], not a doctors office as stated by complainant. I've attached pictures taken prior to tow- you will notice the long scratch is preexisting on the passenger side door / side, as well as the vehicle parked at [redacted] at [redacted].However, I am unable to see the alleged damage on the splash guard, as there is dirt and debris in pictures provided by complainant.  I would be glad to inspect in person, complainant will need to contact my office to set up an appointment. This vehicle was parked unattended in a vacant lot  in which numerous possibilities could have caused the claimed damage. If the complainant does not agree, I recommend for them to contact their insurance company about the damage, not the Revdex.com.I don't believe the Revdex.com would have any way to determine who is at fault on a damage claim and am requesting this case to be closed as such.Dwight G[redacted]office ###-###-####-- Dwight G[redacted]Dominion Towing, INC.PO Box [redacted]Lorton, VA [redacted]Office ###-###-####Fax ###-###-####Please visit us at WWW.DOMINIONTOWING.COM

Review: Description of Services Requested of Vendor in Question (Allstate Car Service):

[redacted] and I, [redacted] went on vacation from May [redacted] to the [redacted], and contracted with Allstate Car Service to provide transportation services to and from Manhattan ([redacted] address above) and the Bayonne NJ cruise port where our vacation initiated and terminated. Please see the attachment #1 for the email records of the original reservations.

On the last day of our vacation (Friday May [redacted]), while still at sea, we learned of the sudden passing of [redacted]’s Grandmother while we had been away, and were informed that her funeral and burial services were to commence the next morning, Saturday May [redacted] at 10am in Queens NY.

Our return trip reservation was modified via phone early Saturday morning (please see attached phone records, attachment #2) at 6:53am. The operator confirmed the following:

- There would be no fee for changing the pickup time to 9am, at the latest

- The change in destination was no problem, all drivers would know Queens and be able to take us to the location of the funeral and burial

- No confirmation email would be sent, we would simply confirm the exact Queens address with the driver upon pickup

Return Services Not Rendered

- Contrary to the agreement made over the phone, the driver showed up over 10 minutes late.

o Note the incoming call at 8:31 indicating the driver was en-route.

o The outgoing calls at 8:37 and 8:39 were to confirm our exact pickup location.

o The outgoing call at 9:01 confirmed that the driver “was almost there”.)

- The driver did not speak sufficient English to communicate the urgency of our trip, nor the correct address

- The driver did not depart the cruise terminal until after 9:15, as he could not determine how to enter the correct address in his GPS device.

- The driver ultimately entered an incomplete address into his GPS, and took a route that brought us to the west-side-highway by 9:40, still over half an hour driving time from our desired destination. (Google maps total estimated driving time ranges from 35 to 45min depending on the exact route taken. Remaining time from 42nd street was still over 25min)

- The driver then called a colleague and began asking for directions, at which point the driver turned east on 42nd street, only to get stuck in cross-town traffic. At this point it was nearing 10am, and we would surely miss the services.

After it became apparent that we would surely miss the funeral and burial services, we told the driver to take us to[redacted]. We refused to sign the receipt as the driver did not take us to the destination we requested.

Failure of Allstate to Refund the Charge

At 11:08am we spoke with Allstate Customer services and detailed our horrible experience attempting to reach the funeral in Queens. The customer service agent ([redacted]) was very understanding and apologetic, and assured us that we would not be charged.

Subsequent to this call, we were charged for the full amount of the car service. Over the past 2+ months I have spoken with various Allstate service representatives, including the manager, [redacted], and the investigation into our complaint is “ongoing”. Allstate now claims that we were taken to the destination we requested (our home address), and has not found the calls where we changed our requested destination.

Your prompt attention and investigation into this matter would be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: Full refund.

DRIVERS RELATIONS

Review: I received a coupon from AllState Limo in a [redacted] coupon package stating "10% call or reserve online-10% off any ride over $30 dollars". Fine print only says "expiration date:11/**/13" and "All drivers are independent contractors". I called to apply coupon to reservation since there was nowhere to enter it online. I was informed of restrictions in time of day and payment type that are not stated on the coupon anywhere. They will not honor the coupon even though the restrictions are not listed on the coupon. This is false advertising and should not be allowed to print coupons with no restrictions listed. It is misleading and I only booked through them because of the coupon.Desired Settlement: I would like the 10% refunded to me.
