In response to the last email from the Revdex.com which attached a copy of the paid in full invoice the homeowner provided Attached you will see the said invoice along with our corrected invoice after applying the customer final payment As you will notice from the "zero" balance invoice the customer received from us, it shows two payments with the check numbers provided on those days The check number from the first payment listed on his invoice is the same check number we actually recorded in our receivables program, however the two amounts are different The amount on the customer paid in full invoice is the amount he WAS suppose have paid, but when the final process into my department was entered in our system it adjusted the totals to show a $remaining balance The was already deducted from his starting total, a deduction that would have been the customers out of pocket cost for his deductible The insurance company does not pay for the deductibles they only pay for the items that need to be repair Please review the follow attachmentsRose H***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the response. If the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]This is the same thing they have been saying all along. I still have the receipt which says I'm paid in full. As far as I'm concerned, the bill has been paid in full. [redacted] *. [redacted]

The first matter to clear up is that Mr [redacted] needs to produce the receipt he claims he was given at my office indicating that after his second payment he had a zero balanceI will consult with my attorney as well

Having read her complaint, it is quite obvious to me that Ms*** suffers from some form of mental deficiencyI wrote her a letter explaining in detail the problem with re-applying metal panels to her (almost) flat roof porch addition like she has now My desire is to provide quality work
and stand by my work, and re-applying metal panels on the (almost) flat porch roof will not interface properly with the shingles on the pitched roof of the main house Please refer to a copy of the letter I sent her attached to this response
Furthermore, Ms*** is lying when she says that I wanted to exclude part of the work that has been paid to be done through the insurance claim money that WE are responsible for obtaining for her She in fact is the one who said to me that she did not want us to do the re-roofing of some out buildings located in her back junk yard
The problem here is that Ms*** doesn't possess enough basic intelligence to understand what I'm telling her, and she thinks she knows what she's talking about, which she obviously does not.
If she breaks her agreement with us to have us do the work, she is indeed in breach of contract and I will most certainly take her to court

We can fully understand Ms*** complaint regarding this matterUnfortunately, Chris, the person she mentioned meeting with at her house that removed a couple of loose shingles and was assigned the task of effecting the repairs, dropped the ball completely and the repair work was never
carried out We will be scheduling the repair to take place in the next 2-days

If indeed Mr. [redacted] was given a receipt of payment by Allstate Roofing indicating that his last payment of $5,227.38 gave him a "paid in full" or "zero" balance, it was simply an honest clerical mistake made by one of my staff.  Allstate Roofing and Mr. [redacted] are in full agreement as to...

the amount paid thus far by Mr. [redacted], the misunderstanding here lies in the total amount due. The fact of the matter is, Mr. [redacted] was correct in writing a second check for $5,727.38 for the remaining balance due, and my staff member was in error when she told him otherwise. As owner & general manager of Allstate Roofing, I have conducted a careful audit of this account, and can confirm that Mr. [redacted] does in fact still have a $500 balance due Allstate Roofing. I will be happy to personally go over Mr. [redacted] bill with him for services rendered in order to clear up this misunderstanding, and we sincerely apologize to Mr. [redacted] for any inconvenience this matter has caused one of our valued customers.
