I LOVE my new screen enclosure! From the first phone call to set up the estimate to the finished product, everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional, and polite, and I could not be more pleasedScott the installer was awesome; a real artistmy screen room replacement looks so good I need to paint the house nowThanks Housman's!!

I don't usually write a review but thought this needed to be said I had Housman Aluminum give me a estimate in October last year on concrete work an roof over it Estimator came in October, we got permit an drawing late November a part we had discussed was not on it They said they would take care of it when they came to do the job, that cost me a extra Poured concrete days before Christmas finally finished job in March Now the aluminum roof has rust starting on it, Concrete is cracking Called several times said they would take care of it so far it has not been done The concrete guy did come by and told me all concrete cracks an could a acrylic finish on it for a few hundred dollars which I do not feel is my fault Had another concrete man look at it an asked if they pumped the concrete, they did it was like soup He said that is the problem to much water I have a General contractor in Va for years now retired I have had a lot of concrete poured never had one crack in r months This is not a company I recommend for any job I can also furnish some pics of job

Five installers worked on our 2000sqft rescreeningAll hardware on doors was replaced including hinges, and large bolt caps were installed(nice extra)At times the men would a section if they thought it could be better, good workmanship!
They even returned to check re-tighten a few areas
We were so impressed that we are having Houseman do a Front Entrance Encloser
Job was completed in one day

Old fashioned friendliness and service are alive at Housman's. I stopped by to find out about a replacement part and how to repair my pool enclosure. Not only did they give me the part, their technician, Cliff, came by and fixed it on the way to another appointment. The office staff and Cliff were more than helpful, they were service oriented and represent those traits that make small businesses in America great. They have me as a customer for life.

Hired Housman's to tear down and replace existing patio cover and screen enclosure. Also to cage the patio area with the spa. The workers did an awesome job.
Robert at Housman' wrote the contract then when he decided to call in a roofer to cut the roof back and replace fascia board (as stated in the contract) Robert then called and tried to rip us off of $1000.00. He called me crazy and yelled at my husband. Wanted to record conversation in case of litigation, what????
No communication with this company at all. We were without a cover for a month on the porch. Someone in their office resurfaced out porch, when they did the second coat and ground on it some more they made it look worse than before. Nobody would come look at it or even try to make it better. Not a good company to deal with. Not professional at all.

Called Housman's as they are local and veteran owned. Alex C[redacted] came to do estimate within a couple of days. Alex was very nice and professional. He said they could start the job in about 2 weeks. It was almost 2 weeks to the day. Kevin and his helper were also very nice and professional. And funny which made it a pleasant experience. They had the job done in a little over an hour. Overall I would give this company an A++++++.

Had an estimate done from [redacted] a week ago. after he left I noticed that [redacted] just wrote the price down without any explanation of $911 dollars and just X's on the panels to be replaced. I tried to get this fixed and a week later...I cancelled today.
[redacted] said I was rude with his employee [redacted].....right after this conversation he banned from the facebook business page. He wont get my business.

First off,,,[redacted] was very nice but did an unconcise estimate one week ago on Tues. The Day after I called and asked for and itemized estimate at which She said [redacted] would do it. Yesterday(6 days later) the receptionist told me [redacted] would have it done by the end of the day....This didn't happen. I will not do business with people who don't hold to their word and therefore canceled the service....all the estimate said was $911.00 and x's on the panels to be replaced. Too Bad.

[redacted] We did lose connection...yes. Are you sure I hung up? calling me rude...I am saving this. I might have been short with [redacted] but not rude. I can appreciate your loyalty to [redacted] and Yes, I was not happy about the neglect and someone else will be getting our business. I like to know what I'm paying for. [redacted] promised I would get the estimate by the end of the day Yesterday. Didn't happen and I'm sure at the end of the day you don't consider it rude to have not kept your...hmmm, excuse me [redacted]'s promise. You can lump me as a bad customer all you want . I now feel you have a too big to fail attitude and will post in other places reputable , so delete/remove away Mr [redacted]...I have screen captured this anyhow.

[redacted] After reading your lengthy excuses , any apology that has explanations i.e.( but I do think that you wanted everything broken down into Labor and Materials, which is not how our items are setup for costing of our jobs. (Then it would only be fair to start showing you the rest of our overhead? Fuel expenses? Property Leases? We are not a business that operates out of the "back of their truck" like so many businesses do in our industry. ) tends to nullify the apology. You exaggerate with the above analogy on overhead ETC. All I wanted to do is make sure [redacted] and I were on the same page , and as I thought.....There was a mistake in communication about the pet screen. If things were itemized we could have cleared that up straight away. [redacted] was obviously trying to get done with my estimate so he could get to his next one in Mims and should have did a more concise job. You assume a bit much Mr [redacted] about what I wanted from the estimate....Did you look at it? There are columns for itemizing. I knew nothing of how much You were going to charge for pet screen or how much you planned on installing as its amount was not written on the estimate. In fact , We bought pet screen a few yrs back and had it installed...So I was telling [redacted] that there was no need but maybe a very small panel(2x4 est). The high cost was a bit shocking yes,,,but only because there was NO explanation for it at all in the estimate.

[redacted]'s Aluminum & Screening, Inc. As mentioned, yes it took us longer to get back with you and once again we are sorry, but we had absolutely no problem itemizing the charges. I totally understand you wanting to know the itemized charges and were going to get that to you, but you seemed very irritated already and were hard to talk to, being quite rude to [redacted] when you hung up on her. The last thing that came about earlier is that you actually wanted it broken down into Labor and Materials, which that is what we said we would not do. Any further communication on this subject needs to go through our office. If not, this post bill be deleted/removed.
