April 7, RE:? Customer Complaint ? To whom it may concern, ? In January 2016, The Lodge leasing office received a bubble wrapped envelope with keys enclosed for the residents apartment.? Payment was not received for the month of January and late fees were added to the account ledger according to the lease agreement.? A lease was signed for the dates of May 22, - July 31, 2016.? All residents who sign a lease are responsible for fulfilling the entire lease term.? Residents may perform a “Lease Takeover” in the event they want to terminate their lease.? I am unaware of any issues regarding a roommate situation that was unfavorable.? An ownership change took place in July and a new Property Manager was hired with the new management company at the same time.? ? ? After reviewing the resident file, it appears a copy of the lease was made and provided to the resident referring to roommate matching and selections made on the Resident Profile Sheet.? I am unable to provide feedback regarding conversations between the resident or applicants who applied for housing prior to our takeover? In summary, a collection process was started due to non-payment of rent and failure to fulfill the obligations listed in the lease contract signed on May 16, ?
