When we had our home built, the builder contracted a landscaping company to do the landscaping work Because of the total cost, we decided not to do all of the landscaping project at one time prior to moving in, but decided to do it in stages As time went on and we felt we could move forward with additional landscape projects we contacted the landscaping company and asked them to move forward with more of the projects They didn’t respond nor did they come out to take care of repairs to irrigation or water feature leaks After repeated phone calls and stops at their office I finally gave up We needed things fixed and we wanted to continue with the landscape plans We finally gave up we called AllTex Landscaping We didn’t know if they would even consider coming in and cleaning up issues that someone else created but they did and they did a great job They repaired all the water leaks in the irrigation system and the water feature They took care of the plants that needed replacing and then we set out to complete the landscaping that was never done They have done an excellent job During the last four years we’ve added considerable landscape features and additional landscaping to our property not only adding beauty and curb appeal to our home, but we’ve increased our outdoor seating areas, and added elegant lighting to enhance the architecture of our home They have always done a great job, done it on time, and always backed their work They are always well spoken, respectful, and honest, and we truly trust them to take care of the plants, trees, lights, pathways, and all the landscape features of our hill country home Toby and Logan Massey are a blessing to us

I am rejecting this response because: It is not valid or accurate. It is a pity when a company does not provide their customers the products contracted but manages to stay in business. All courtesy and respect were given to the hard-working crews of Alltex; however, the 2 sons [redacted] and [redacted] were arrogant and disrespectful to us because we kept pushing them to make corrections. They were extremely defensive in their attitudes. We were never asked did we want a drip irrigation (different from our contract) under the sod. They took it upon themselves to do what the wanted to do. We followed their top watering instructions; our water bill of $150+ is evidence of that.Regrettably it is now obvious that the drip irrigation was incorrectly installed as the drip did not water the sod evenly. The installation was completed by [redacted], an expired licensed Texas landscape irrigator. We did request [redacted], foreman, to test the drip system prior to laying the sod and he advised he couldn't do that since it would make the yard soggy to install sod. No tests were made. After contacting other companies in Fredericksburg to resolve this problem, we have been advised that the entire front yard sod would need to be removed and repair or a replacement be done to the incorrect driplines. New estimated expenses will be +/- $5,000.00. All this is happening even though Alltex gave us a 1 year warranty on the irrigation system.Unfortunately we are now being told of the bad work of Alltex in Fredericksburg over the years past. Our disappointment in the landscaping job could have been avoided if other customers had taken the time to report a complaint to the Revdex.com, as we would never have contracted their company with bad complaints. We stand firm that our complaint is valid and correct.

As time went on and we felt we could move forward with additional landscape projects we contacted the landscaping company and asked them to move forward with more of the projects. We needed things fixed and we wanted to continue with the landscape plans.
We finally gave up . . . we called AllTex Landscaping. We didn’t know if they would even consider coming in and cleaning up issues that someone else created but they did and they did a great job. They repaired all the water leaks in the irrigation system and the water feature. They took care of the plants that needed replacing and then we set out to complete the landscaping that was never done. They have done an excellent job. Dear [redacted],
The accusations listed in the...
complaint definitely disputable. My attempts to professionally provide a solution to these issues prior to filing of this complaints we unsuccessful. The customers are extremely rude and were disrespectful to myself and my employees. After several visits to their home to make corrections, I made the decision to not return. The plants were not inferior and in fact I was stuck with around $1000.00 in plant material That they refused. Each plant ordered specifically upon their request and the closing of the nursery was not relevant. The inventory was completely liquidated and the last day of business was May 30. I am not a grower, thus I use a variety of very quality vendors in the Texas area. The variety of plants and sizing the customer expected were not available to us. Full grown specimens are just not an option without a great expense. In addition, the customer was charged only for what was delivered and planted on their property and any plants that died within the first 30 days are replaced at our expense.
The customers agreed to the conversion of a conventional irrigation system to a sub-surface Drip irrigation system which is more efficient and saves water. In turn, the customers were told that because of the summer heat the grass would need to Be topically watered for 3-4 weeks until the sod was established. I have no idea if they attempted to do so.
I sent an employee out to correct the problem with the water feature, indicating in an em-mail that I would only correspond with Mr. Harlan because Mrs. Harlan was just completely irate and irrational to speak with.
My employee was verbally assaulted upon arrival. (Cussing and screaming)That was the last attempt to communicate.I sent the last e-mail indicating that neither myself or my employees would be returning to their Property.
This company has been around for 25 years and has been successful in working through customer services issues. I remain dedicated to continue.
