I am responding to the response given by Alltown Dental in regards to my complaintMy dental insurance was not terminatedI retired from my jobtherefore, I was no longer able to use my former dental planHowever, I purchased new dental coverage through *** *** effective Nov 1, I clearly stated to Christine the office manager (who has since left the practice) my situation with the dental insuranceI asked her not to schedule any appointments for October if I didn't have anymore benefits leftShe assured me I did for one more procedureThis was the only reason I kept the October appointment even though it was not an urgent matterAt no time was I under the assumption that I had dental insurance for the month of OctoberIt is not my responsibility to keep track of the cost of proceduresI did my part, I let the office know that Oct 1, ended my old dental coverage and Nov 1, New insurance with *** *** will be effectiveAlltown dental, demanded that I pay per month on my bill, However, I am not able to make that sumI feel I owe the office nothing because they scheduled a October appointment knowing I would not be covered
