As the owner of Allure Salon I tried to mediate between the hair stylist ([redacted]) and the client.  All of the stylists at my salon are independent contractors and handle their clients themselves.  The client called me 4-6 months after having her hair done demanding a refund for the services...

completed, which meant there was no way for me to confirm or deny her claims.  Even though the complaint was made so long after the service I agreed to talk to [redacted] to try and come up with a solution.  [redacted], which I have a working relationship with for roughly 10 years, assured me that she used the same techniques to color/bleach her hair as she has done for many years.  [redacted] agreed to talk to the client again to discuss the issue but when asked the client refused to come back into the salon to show the "damage".  The client demanded to get her money back and [redacted] refused due to not being able to see or confirm the claimed damage as well as the time between the service and the complaint.  Had the client come back to talk to [redacted] within a reasonable time frame I believe the outcome could have been much more favorable.

Review: Approx. April/May 2014 - I asked [redacted] to color my hair. She used 40 volume bleach on my hair - causing sever burns to my scalp. I contacted her @ Salon requesting refund. She said I was trying to cause trouble. I called several times. She just keeps telling me she did nothing wrong. My hair went from blonde to Snow white. My hair now falls out while shampooing and combing. Can't even blow dry or style. Hair no longer grows. My hair is like like cotton candy. Only using a wide tooth comb to comb out. I have spent a lot of money on Prof. products to fix hair.Desired Settlement: Refund money 80.00 - they refuse. And to be reported to [redacted]. Total refund request approx $200.00.
