Review: Good Evening, My name is [redacted] and I am a bridesmaid in a wedding. The bride is [redacted]. We were all suppose to get our dresses from allure in Stamford Ct. I called on March 12 , 2014 about getting my dress. I gave the man [redacted] my card number. I asked if I can receive a receipt through email. [redacted] said yes he will send it right away. I gave him my size and he said nothing about any policy and that I needed to pay more money for the dress. I asked him what his policy was and how much . It was 100 for a down payment first. I waited a couple of days and I still got nothing and still no money pulled . So I called again on March 15 2014, and asked if they could send the confirmation . That day he told me he never got my size. Then I told him that I did. I waited again again and nothing. March 19 2014 I called again and [redacted] said he was suppose to email me and call me about the dress because the dress is going to be 169 because they did not have my size. I asked what the policy was for cancellation and he said there was none. I asked him since day one and think it s a little tricky . I kept asking he said no no. He waited and never pulled my money . Then when I said I wanted to cancel which technically I am allowed to do because I never signed anything or nothing , He took more money out than he was suppose to . I am sick and tired of dealing with him. I told him I would make a complaint and he said well he doesn't care because he only cares if someone famous makes a complaint. Frankly , I think that is rude and no way to treat a customer.Is there a way to look into this because I am not the only one with this problem with him. He refused to give me a receipt with my purchase. I think he is a scam. My sister called and he asked right of the bat he needed all her information. My sister did not give it. Then she did because we needed this dress.His name is [redacted] and works in Stamford ct ,Desired Settlement: All I would like to see is my refund , So I can go to another store to get the dress. He did not tell me the policy and I asked him number of times. The problem is it has been over the phone. I have called lots of times asking him for a receipt and still nothing. I do not think what he did was right. If we were famous people he would care more. The man should of not said that. I did not sign anything not even a contract online. I would like a refund and a receipt.

Hello ,

Yes he never contacted me at all . But my credit card company sent over a statement saying he did give me my refund back . He never got in contact with me . He tried calling and almost left a message . It said nothing about the refund . It is all set and solved , I do have my refund back so thank you very much for your help .

I made a complaint awhile back ago about the dress. I got the refund but I think the owner of the store in Stamford did not got confirmation. Today he called the bride and said I owe him the balance. I am confused because he gave me the refund and I got a letter saying the store and my card company solved the issue. I bought the dress somewhere else now. I am worried that he will try to charge my card. I do not want any service from him or the company. They were very unprofessional. Frankly I think that if he tries to charge my card I don't know what to do. He will probably say he had no confirmation about the refund but he did. We talked on the phone.If you could please give me some in sight on what to do that would be great. I let my card company know the store may try this again and charge me. I have life lock and they will be looking out to.

Let me move on because I Am not going to be buying your dress. I did not sign anything or agree to anything , We did everything on the phone. He kept forgetting that I gave him information and than charged me without me knowing. As a customer I did not feel comfortable . I did not agree what he did was right. He was not truthful right up front.
