Review: Hired Allways Paving to pave my driveway. He completed the job on 10/1/12. 10 days after the paving work was done, I contacted Mr. [redacted] (the owner) to complain about divots, deterioration of material and overall defective condition of my driveway. Mr. [redacted] stated that he was not worried about the condition, because whatever was wrong with the driveway he would be able to fix. Given that the fall season and winter months were upon us, I waited and contacted Mr. [redacted] again in the springtime to bring his attention to the defective condition of my driveway. Mr. [redacted] came and stated that he would reheat and reseal the driveway. When he arrived, it was thundering. I asked him if the weather would affect his work. He stated that there was only a 30% chance of rain. He was not on my property for 1/2-hour. Five minutes after he left, the skies opened up and the rain came pouring down. Black sealant was splattered all over my garage, vinyl siding to the roof line, black splotches remain over my driveway, divots and indentations are over my driveway, and black spots remain over my vinyl siding. Mr. [redacted] indicates in his contract that he guarantees all workmanship. The condition of my driveway is directly related to his workmanship. Further, Mr. [redacted] claims that he is fully insured, yet his contract contains no insurance information or address for his business, which is in violation of his Department of Consumer Protection licensure. Where is the oversight?Desired Settlement: To date, Mr. [redacted] has 7 complaints with the Revdex.com. My complaint increases that count to 8, which does not account for those who have not chosen to file a complaint with your bureau. I believe that this business should be disqualified from doing any further business within this state. Mr. [redacted] does not comply with the regulations pursuant to his DCP licensing, and it is unbelievable to me that he is allowed to continually perform work that is defective and poor.

Review: Violation of agreed upon contractual obligations . Failure to complete Job as stated in contract .Not having a current contractors Lic. at the time that the contract was written and work was performed. Failure to return to complete and repair work . Violation of the state of Connecticut 3 day right of cancelation rule.Contract states that I am to receive a driveway consisting of 3/4 gravel and asphalt machine laid to the following dimensions 10ft wide 100ft long in a straight run 3 inches thick graded and smooth. What I got was varying widths of 9 to 12 ft and the length of 94 feet with a thickness ranging from 1/4 inch to 1.75 inches with ZERO 3/4 base gravel underneath . He was given to FOUR months to fix it. Several text messages and phone calls have been made . I offered several times to refund me my money and he declined. The surrounding towns refuse to issue him a permit they have revoked his bonding ,despite him telling me that he pulled a permit for my driveway.Desired Settlement: I have given this man close to 5 months to make this right .ample opportunity has been given . I want a full refund plus lost wages for time taken off for him to correct the issues 3 days at 375.00 per day

[redacted] called on a tire mark on driveway , I offerd to heat an fix tire mark witch states in my contract that I do not gaurentee an it is stated in contract I stated several times I would take care of any issues he thought due to a tire mark in driveway means that the whole driveway would be digger up an completely replaced my gaurentee in my contract states we fix any issue with any bad material or workman ship an he wasent willing to have it fixed he expected a whole new driveway an I do have a up to date contractors lic that I've held for over 7 years in the state of ct as we'll as sever other states. Was more than willing to work with him but a gaurentee states if there's an issue we fix the issue to move foward an he thinks because of a tire make he thinks driveway should be replaced an that's no what the drivway needed what so ever. I have contracted for job an the asphalt recipt for the seep if job the drivway was paved with 3 inches of asphalt an was installed properly.

I am rejecting this response because:Mr [redacted] is full of it ... The issue did not start with a " tire mark" it started with him not being licensed at the time the contract was completed.. It has to do with the fact I contracted him to provide me with 10x100 ft of drive way to start at a clean cut apron and to end level and smooth 100 ft later. I recieved a uncut unpaved apron and only 93 feet of driveway .. The drive way contract was for a 3 inch thick driveway what I recieved was a driveway less then. 1/2 inch thick in most places ... I payed for a stone base and I got nothing as a base I contracted for removal of old driveway and what I got was a pile of broke. Asphalt in my back yard!!! I asked about a permit he said he would take care of it... Town of [redacted] refuses to issue this man a permit!! As for the TIRE MARK ... I waited 30 days to use my driveway and the first time I did my [redacted] truck was on it for ten minutes and when I moved it the 1/4 inch thick section of my driveway pulled up with the tire... Not to mention that I laid strings and paint lines as to define the exact location of the driveway and he moved the driveway the opposit way I wanted it

Review: hired owner [redacted] 6/5/2013 to repair ALL cracked areas and any other issues on driveway. also to include topcoat. said he would be on the job the whole time. repair done 6/6/2013, the day before forecasted 3-4 inch rain storm. we talked about rain issue and was told it shouldnt be a problem and that we were "100% warrantied' and "you will not be sorry or unhappy with my work, I assure you". a check was written in the amount of $4200.00. I was leaving for evening ,he wasnt finished but reluctantly gave him the payment on the morning of the 8th after an all day/night of hard heavy rain went outside to look. all of the filling in the cracks were were washed away, some of the cracks were never repaired to begin with, topcoat washed away in certain areas, parts of my garage/house at the base had been sprayed with black topcoat and the asphalt had not been filled to the edges where some of the driveway had been cut out and filled. very upset, we called and left a message to see when he would be back. took a lot of pictures!!heard from [redacted] 2 days later on the 10th after we called again. said he had been away for the weekend, had other jobs but promised to take care of it. he sent 1 person out late afternoon next day to do repairs. he never came to look at issues. employee said he would repair "all" of it. filling cracks again and the cut out areas as well. also said the topcoat would be done in the areas it washed away. we left for the afternoon/evening before he finished. next day we saw terrible patch job, cut out areas not repaired some original cracks still not repaired and no topcoat repairs. we called 2 days in a row and left a message both days before he answered, said we were bothering him, he was on a job and he would come out that afternoon and literally hung up on us. have never heard from him since that was on 13th.

Desired Settlement: we would like all-ways paving to come back and do job properly and guarantee and warranty their work.. if they can not in a timely manner then we would like a refund for the work not completed.

[redacted] showed up 7/10/13 said we were liars and he did repair drivaway after original job was done.. said we had no reason call Revdex.com and was very upset with us! Said he would come back again, that there was some rain forecasted that afternoon but he would be back in a few days...never heard from him again

Review: All-Ways Paving was supposed to patch holes in the driveway and seal. The black sealant was splattered on the front of the house siding. The owner told me he would get solution to clean it off and never returned to do so. Another job they did was to add stone to the side of the driveway for additional parking space. Foliage is growing up through the rocks. I made 3 calls to the owner on 5/12, 5/19, and 5/27 to tell him about this and also tell him a patch he did under the car port still has holes.I have not gotten a return call.Desired Settlement: I want the black spots cleaned off the front of the house, the holes filled where he patched, and the area he filled with stone done properly so foliage doesn't keep growing through. I should not have to weed an area that is covered in stone.

Review: We hired Jordon F[redacted] from All-Ways Paving. He seemed professional, mentioned various projects, mostly commercial and gave us a high quote but we decided to use him just because of his demeanor and what we thought was integrity.He was supposed to lay 4 inches of gravel on the whole driveway. At the beginning of our driveway there is much less about an inch. We also have many areas of puddleing. There are divots and marks in the driveway where the roller compacted the asphalt. He was in such a rush to get done with our job he made countless mistakes. He had to go back and get extra asphalt because he didnt have enough. Still it is not as deep as he put in his contract.We talked to him since April and told him we were not satisfied with the job. He stopped down once called back a few times. We were supposed to be getting a new contract stating that hed fix the problems. He came out and saw them with his own eyes. He agreed he saw the problems. We were told that he was doing work (2 places), last week in [redacted] and hed come down that day to our driveway and fix it. He never showed. He is not trustable he used less material than the contact stated, he dumped some of the old driveway into the woods behind our house, it is watershed property.Finally I got in touch with him and he told me there was no way he could come out until October 2015, mind you he did the driveway in early April. We are very unhappy with his work. If you read his Revdex.com reviews this is not the first time his shabby work was noted by a consumer. He never followed throughWe have also found out that he didnt get a permit for the end of our driveway. Also, he has no current license in the City of [redacted]. No bond and no certificate of insurance.With all of this being said wed like it fixed WAY before October or a refund for whatever we need to pay another paver to fix the problems. We are getting quotes now.Desired Settlement: We'd like him to come back and fix all the problems we have because of his shabby work.

Avoid All Ways Paving!!! After one year our new driveway is cracking and caving in on the edges.When we contacted them about the poor job they said they would come look at it. They never showed up and never called. Now they won't answer our calls or return our messages. Poor work ethic!!!
