I cannot accept that a local business would not even be willing to work with a customer on such a large sum of money for a refundIn addition, the actions following this matter do not represent what a small town local business should have for customer serviceThe fact that a business is willing to do through this much time, money, and effort to NOT negotiate on a refund is simply unacceptableI will accept nothing less than a refund negotiation in this matter

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The website utilization as referenced by the business was only used to obtain contact info and picture of boat model. No details of policies or disclosures were reviewed. The phone call when deposit was charged informed me that the contract would be sent and their policy said they needed to be receive this signed document and payment and full within thirty days of departure, but in this case since I called so close they wanted the contract as soon as I could get it done. Offering to reschedule is not acceptable as this season would mean I essentially have the month of October as an option. The main point of this discussion is that I did not even make the reservation within 45 days! I was not informed of this on the phone; I was not told that by making this reservation there would be no option for any cancellation due to the time factor. My request has simply been to have a compromise or negotiation for this refund matter. [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
