Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I've spent enough money on this truckI can't even drive it to youAnd in no way will I get another vehicle from your lotSorry and thanks Regards, [redacted]

On March 10, [redacted] came to my lot and purchased a Dodge Durango 4xwith over 190,miles The retail value was in excess of $but she only had a budget of $ The only vehicle I had in her price range was the Dodge Durango She purchased it AS-IS with no warranty weeks later she notified me that the engine had a blown head gasket She did this by yelling and using profanity After I asked her to calm down and give me an opportunity to come up with a solution she told me the repair cost would be higher than the cost of the vehicle So I offered to help her My solution was to find a less expensive repair option So I talked to my mechanic who gives me excellent pricing and he suggested replacing it with a used engine with lower miles He said he could get one for $and he would sell it to her at his cost and he would do the engine swap for $ I told this solution to Ms [redacted] and she seemed to be fine with it She told me she did not have $at the time but she said she would let me know when she did I even offered to pay for the towing from Lockhart, TX to Round Rock, TX (about miles) These were all solutions that she agreed with and has yet to contact me about I find it very offensive that she would agree to a solution that was above and beyond what I am required to do and then make a slanderous complaint about me that I "knowingly sold her a vehicle with a blown head gasket" This may be her perception, but it certainly isn't true So since my last solution that she agreed to was not acceptable to her I would like to offer up the following options for Ms [redacted] : Bring me the Durango and trade it in on a new vehicle I will sell her another vehicle at my cost and give her a fair market value trade allowance for her vehicleBring me the Durango and I will buy it from her cash outright at a fair market value based on it's current condition I have attached a copy front and back of the Buyers Guide in which it clearly states "AS WARRANTY YOU WILL PAY ALL COSTS FOR ANY REPAIRSThe dealer assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle" I will be contacting Ms [redacted] by email so that there is a record of our dialogue going forward I want to be able to have accurate records so that I can avoid anymore slanderous comments Thank You, [redacted] Almost Free Motors, LLC ###-###-####

On March 10, 2015 [redacted] came to my lot and purchased a 2001 Dodge Durango 4x4 with over 190,000 miles.  The retail value was in excess of $3200 but she only had a budget of $2250.  The only vehicle I had in her price range was the Dodge Durango.  She purchased it AS-IS...

with no warranty.  3 weeks later she notified me that the engine had a blown head gasket.  She did this by yelling and using profanity.   After I asked her to calm down and give me an opportunity to come up with a solution she told me the repair cost would be higher than the cost of the vehicle.  So I offered to help her.  My solution was to find a less expensive repair option.  So I talked to my mechanic who gives me excellent pricing and he suggested replacing it with a used engine with lower miles.  He said he could get one for $800 and he would sell it to her at his cost and he would do the engine swap for $400.  I told this solution to Ms [redacted] and she seemed to be  fine with it.  She told me she did not have $800 at the time but she said she would let me know when she did.  I even offered to pay for the towing from Lockhart, TX to Round Rock, TX (about 55 miles).  These were all solutions that she agreed with and has yet to contact me about.  I find it very offensive that she would agree to a solution that was above and beyond what I am required to do and then make a slanderous complaint about me that I "knowingly sold her a vehicle with a blown head gasket".  This may be her perception, but it certainly isn't true.   So since my last solution that she agreed to was not acceptable to her I would like to offer up the following options for Ms [redacted]:   1. Bring me the Durango and trade it in on a new vehicle.  I will sell her another vehicle at my cost and give her a fair market value trade allowance for her vehicle. 2. Bring me the Durango and I will buy it from her cash outright at a fair market value based on it's current condition.     I have attached a copy front and back of the Buyers Guide in which it clearly states "AS IS-NO WARRANTY YOU WILL PAY ALL COSTS FOR ANY REPAIRS. The dealer assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle"   I will be contacting Ms [redacted] by email so that there is a record of our dialogue going forward.  I want to be able to have accurate records so that I can avoid anymore slanderous comments.   Thank You, [redacted] Almost Free Motors, LLC ###-###-####
