Government employee was going to stay at this hotel and company did a credit card authorization for him to stay Hotel is claiming it was a prepay booking and charged the full stay and will not refund any of the stay This hotel is flat out stealing money from the guest I can see charging one night stay but the full stay when someone does not show-up Talking with the hotel they were extremely rude and I would highly encourage no one to stay with this hotel

He was a guest at our hotel in February. Guest had been charged on his personal card, but it was then covered by a third party. When the third party card authorization was received a...

credit was issued back to the card that appeared on file through the loyalty program. Guest claims the card the credit was issued to was not his card. We have issued a credit to the correct card and have contacted the guest to inform him of it and provided proof of when it was issued.

Review: I paid for a 4-night reservation at this hotel, my credit card was charged, but when I arrived at the hotel, I was told I could not stay there for some reason, and the staff transferred me to another hotel next door ([redacted]). I was told they would reimburse me for my pre-paid reservation so I stayed at the [redacted] instead of the Aloft hotel for all 4 nights. I haven't yet been reimbursed for my initial reservation and when I called the Aloft hotel I was told that reservations are not refundable. That's the opposite of what the staff had told me in person when I arrived at the hotel, and the Aloft hotel is responsible for canceling my reservation because they asked me to move to [redacted], I did not make any changes to my plans, I only agreed to be transferred to the [redacted] because they asked me to do so. If I don't get a refund for my initial reservation I will pursue legal action against the Aloft hotel for charging me for services they didn't provide and for giving me misleading/deceptive information when I arrived regarding the refund & transfer to [redacted].Desired Settlement: Please see my note above, the outcome I'm seeking is to receive a full refund to the credit card which the Aloft hotel charged for the 4 night reservation.
