another guest. we are willing to honor the reservation anytime he is in the Bay Area and I would extend that for two years. We think this is reasonable considering the conditions of the reservations which is non-refundable and no cancel. I would also add I had no contact with Mr. [redacted] at anytime, so not sure who he spoke to.
In addition, each guest is sent a confirmation email confirming all reservation details to their email address.
If Mr. [redacted] is able to provide the receipt for the other hotel he stayed at in the area on that night we may be able to do something on his behalf.

At approximately 3pm PST, I spoke personally with the young lady at the front desk this was 10 min after I booked this hotel with the SPG app on my Iphone and noticed that the app defaulted the year to 2016. The young lady at the front desk spoke with the manager on duty and she told me that they could not help me. I walked across the parking lot to the Westin and booked a room there for the night and called the SPG Platinum line to se if they could help me, they called the hotel and were given the same response of "we cant help you". the SPG Platinum operator then moved it up to the corporate level and approximately 3 hours later Mr Offutt the GM sent me an email saying he could offer me the rooms that night. This was after I had already checked in to and been in my room at the Westin. As for the Receipt I have it and since both the Westin and Aloft are SPG properties and they have my reservation and SPG info all they have to do is call the SPG Platinum operator.
