Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
We will be receiving our dog the middle of December and will forward the statement to Revdex.com and Aloha Boarding & Training, *** & *** ***. Thank you for your assistance in facilitating this matter. *** & *** *** ***

Response to the *** complaint: Our he***s are broken, in years of dog boarding business we have handled a lot of dogs Dogs get diarrhea, dogs throw up, dogs poop out underwear, socks and food wrappersIf dogs have diarrhea or are throwing up, we note the number of timesOnce we
figure they ate some rich food or something that did not agree with themTwice or repetitive we become alarmedOur business is small just myself my husband and one p*** time dog walkerTimeline of events 10/2/to 10/5/10/2/Sunday morning; the clients dog "***" was left in our careAll of the dogs are leash walked two times per day a.mand p.mHe seemed fine, but a little quiet not as bouncy as usual10/3/Monday morning there was diarrhea in his run, he wanted to go for his walk but refused his breakfastWe are thinking just an upset tummyP.Mwalk he seemed fine just quiet10/4/Tuesday morningSome foamy spit up in his runNo diarrhea so we are thinking what ever was bothering him has passedHe wanted to go for his walkRefused breakfastAt midday check no more spit up I felt his tummy which was soft and he did no wince or pull away, his gums had color, not whiteAt P.Mwalk time *** and I looked him over, but he wanted to go for his walkWe keep running this scenario over and over; in hind sight what were we missing? If he had not wanted to go for his walkIf he had a second bout of diarrheaIf he had seemed in painIf we had been told he had gotten in the garbage, eaten a corn cob or tennis ballStill this scenario plays in my mind What Did We Miss! 10/5/Wednesday morning was the most horrific scene we have ever witnessed in years of boardingIt was as if this dog had exploded, there was blood everywhere and he was lying down barely breathingWe promptly contacted the clients veterinarian (no answer) the client (no answer) we transported him to the emergency veterinarianWe did not clean him upOur main concern was getting him to the vet as quickly as possibleIt was a critical situation and *** passed away during transport*** left him with the veterinarian because we did not know what the owners wishes would beAutopsy or cremationWe learned on Friday 10/7/from the client that the vet staff had not cleaned up the dog before the owner picked him up midday 10/5/I know this was doubly distressing to the client because he was covered in blood and fecal matter We are devastated we loved *** he was a good dogWorking in the animal field is always challenging because they do not have a voiceThey can not tell us when they don't feel good, or may have eaten something they couldn't passWe try our hardest to be their voice and watch for any warning signsUnfortunately this time we were unable to prevent this eventWe have never, and will never, purposefully or intentionally put any animal at risk of being hurt or delay medical treatment if neededThis was a tragic event that has left us shaken, shocked and devastatedWhen I talked to the clients vet later in the morning on 10/5/she felt it was most likely an obstruction of his bowelWe are so sorryFor the owner to say that I am he***less - no I am he***brokenWe never would have hesitated to seek veterinary care if for one moment we thought *** was so sickStill the scenario is playing What did we miss? My God having a pet die while in our care is the last thing in the world we would wantI remember *** had talked to the owner later in the morning of 10/5/and I talked to him later in the dayHe had questions, I don't really remember speaking to himI was in a state of shock10/7/Friday afternoon the owner showed up at our facility, he parked his motorcycle in the center of our drivewayHe was speaking to my husband (I had been away from the office) when I approached the owner was pacing and pointing and saying in a loud voice "You killed my dog!" I was nervous to approach this man, I was also afraid he was going to st*** throwing punches at my husband I wanted to offer my condolences and our deepest sympathies, but he did not give me a chance, he turned to me pointing and repeating "You killed my dog!" I could see that he was angry and he stated that he was grief stricken and had not been sleepingHe kept repeating "You killed my dog!" 4-timesAnd "I'm going to put you out of business!" "I'm going to ruin you!" "Take responsibility!" I just kept saying "Okay" I was trying to express our shock and sympathiesHe did not want to hear anything I had to sayI understand some people need to vent, he was still very angry as he decided to leave on his motorcycleI said "please be careful" I was really worried that he would get in an accident in his emotional stateThen he posted the statement he sent to Revdex.com on Google, Yelp and NextdoorI replied to the Google postYelp and Nextdoor do not accept replies We are not trying to avoid responsibility, we have not sent a sympathy card or flowers because we thought he would be insulted or tear them upWe did not offer a monetary settlement or new puppy on 10/7/as we felt emotions were to rawI was afraid the situation was ballistic and he might st*** throwing punches We feel a sense of relief that the owner has chosen to contact Revdex.com We are afraid to contact the owner directly due to his ballistic behaviorGoing forward please tell us what you would like us to do to resolve this situation and bring a since of closure to this devastating event We hope the owners will accept our deepest sympathies and condolencesSincerely and respectfully, *** and *** *** Aloha Boarding and Training *** *** *** *** Murphys, Ca*** October 24, ID#
