respond to any of our inquiriesOur research revealed the following details:On 01/05/2017, we received an email from someone claiming to be Mr*** to dispute a recent transaction, but no details were providedBecause email is not a secure form of communication, we called Mr*** to verify his identity and nature of the disputeWe left a message, but no one returned our call.On 02/07/2017, we received another email claiming to be Mr*** asking about a disputeThis time we responded to the email to explain that email is unsecured and to contact usThere was no return call.If we receive a dispute from a member, we offer provisional credit for the disputed amountIn this case it would be the $from ***This would normally be resolved within few days either in favor or against the account holderIn this case, we could not identify the person sending theemail and the change appears to be an *** *** service charge with the account holder making subsequent *** purchases that were not disputed.Transactional activity reveals that Mr*** wrote check #*** on 03/01/for $1,which was in excess of 03/01/balance of$1,The check was cashed on 03/02/when the balance in the account was $1,218.83.IThough we do offer Overdraft Privilege of $for an accidentally overdrawn account, the combined available balance of $1,was not enough to cover check #***.If the dispute was resolved in Mr***'s favor, the overdraft would have covered the paymentHowever, an NSF fees would still apply anytime an account is overdrawn.As a courtesy, we have reversed the NSF fee,but we need him to contact us by phone or in person to make any further progress Thank you
