Aloha Pools & Spas of Paducah Reviews (1816)

HI!Yes, I never got anything from them (I'm sure they tried to contact me, but nothing came thru) I apologize!!Yes, my address is [redacted] Rd. Bucyrus, OH 44820That would be wonderful if you'd send...I will look thru my messages!!!Thank you,

I do not accept this response as an adequate means of resolving said issue, being the the very next day my window cracked more coming from the initial repair site, additionally I nor my wife was informed of the warranty or gaurantee details before the work was started, leaving me no choice but accept the work already being done to my windshield. It is very disheartening when a company does not truly stand by their work. If this can not be resolved by the company itself, then I will be forced to file a lawsuit, and pursue this matter legally. I am getting my windshield replaced Monday out of pocket due to lack of time and for the simple fact that I am not going to pay the deductible price of $500, when it's cheaper for me to do it elsewhere. The only way for this matter to be truly resolved would be full compensation for the price of the new windshield along with charges for labor and all applicable taxes.

Regards, this is the worst customer service I have ever received and I believe you need to learn more about the vehicles you install glass. My particular vehicle has a rain sensor and a automatic headlight sensor there, both get power and ground from the same wires. Automatic headlights work fine wipers did until your techs put my windshield in. So your argument does not work out

You guys are unbelievable.  Unbelievable.Read this carefully.  Try to read what I write here...I paid for mobile service on 12 Sep 16.  My problem isn't with your technician who came at the appointed window frame of 12 - 5.  My problem is you people said to me that you will call me to narrow down a time within that window when he or she would show up.  YOU DID NOT.Your customer service sucks! You also told me that you would send someone to my location to fix my window wiper fluid jets THAT YOU BOTCHED, but you "would call me back on Thursday to narrow down a time frame that is already set for 8 am - 12 noon on 17 Sep 16 (Saturday). YOU DID NOT CALL.  I have been calling all week to get a narrowed timeframe and you want me to drive my car to your shop so you can fix the mistake YOU made to my car?  Are you going to refund me my $30.00 mobile charge I already paid for the convenience of you coming to my location?  When you refund me my mobile charge, I will bring my car to your shop for you to fix the mistake YOU MADE TO MY CAR.  And you have the AUDACITY to imply that I am the one with the issue.  YOU BOTCHED MY CAR.Call my phone, tell me the specific time you will come within the 8 AM - 12 noon window like you said you would, come to my location and fix the wiper fluid jets YOU botched up.  Or give me my money back, so I could come to your shop for you to fix YOUR mistake.
Regards,

Dear Mr. [redacted],
I’m sorry to hear your concerns about the price of the back glass replacement for your 2012 Ram Pickup. In checking our records, we were originally advised that the vehicle had a power slider but that was incorrect. The quote you mentioned was for the correct aftermarket manual...

slider for the vehicle. When James, your representative, brought the vehicle in to have the work performed we had both the aftermarket and the OEM back glass available. He was advised of the difference in price and he requested that we install the OEM part. James stated that he was responsible for the damage and he would be paying for the work. He preferred to have us install the OEM glass as it was what was originally in the vehicle and he felt that “his boss” would be upset if the aftermarket glass was installed.
We received authorization from James to install the more costly OEM glass, even though the aftermarket was also available for installation. There was no coercion or pressure by the Safelite personnel to install the OEM glass. Therefore, we are not willing to refund any portion of the amount paid for the back glass installation. If you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Executive Service team at 1-866-212-5457.

I’m very sorry to hear that the recent windshield repair on your 2011 Nissan Maxima has cracked out and your windshield now requires replacement. While we do have a very high success rate with our repairs, there is no way to determine how the already damaged glass will react to the repair process....

Nor can anyone guarantee that a chip repair will never crack further. I have attached a copy of our warranty, which includes our money back guarantee for repairs. If a repair fails or is just not satisfactory, Safelite will refund the cost of the repair to the paying party. The replacement windshield would then be subject to any deductible on your auto policy.
In your case, your deductible is more than the cost of the windshield so the replacement would be out of pocket for you. We do understand your frustration. Because your insurance company waives your deductible if the windshield can be repaired successfully, you expected to have no out of pocket expense. Now you are facing the expense of a windshield replacement. The full replacement cost of the windshield would be $308.95 plus sales tax, disposal and mobile fees. As a courtesy, we would like to offer to replace your windshield for an all inclusive price of $250.00 with no additional cost for us to come to you. Feel free to contact us at 1-866-212-5457 if you would like to schedule the installation.
Again, I apologize that the repair attempt wasn’t more successful. We do appreciate your business and hope to be able to work with you and get a new windshield installed for you.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12031661, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
[redacted]PSI am sorry that my own actions were unkind and lacking patience. I'm going to remove all the media and reviews - I will make a good review because you guys are good people and I was too blinded by frustrations to see that. Again, I'm sorry and I greatly appreciate the help.

I believe we need to take this before a judge so we can can have these things done and check by a neutral party and see if the court can better help us so that both parties best interest is a the forefront because I dint want to be taken advantagd of as we deal with the details of this case of the water leak.
Regards,

Dear Mr. [redacted],

I’m very sorry that you have new damage apparently caused by something striking the windshield of your 2007 Ford Focus. Safelite did replace the windshield for you in August of 2014. At that time you were advised of our Nationwide Lifetime warranty against defects in the...

glass itself or in our workmanship. I have included a copy of the warranty for your reference.

Our warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by something hitting the windshield as we have no control over that. It is unfortunate that you incurred new damage less than 2 years after the windshield replacement. We would be happy to work with you to provide a replacement for you at the best possible price.

It is regrettable that your windshield has new damage. Because something hit your windshield to cause the chips/cracks, we won’t be able to honor your request to repair or replace the windshield at no cost to you. There is nothing indicating that you had an issue with the original installation, so we must deny your request to refund that cost as well.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Executive Service team at 1-866-212-5457.

Dear Mr. [redacted],I'm sorry that our previous wasn't completely satisfactory. I hope that I will be able to respond to all your concerns and better explain Safelite's policy regarding rust.If a technician sees rust in the installation area, the damaged windshield will not be removed from the vehicle. The only way to tell if the rust has reached the pinchweld would be to remove the old windshield. If the rust is in the pinchweld, if there is more than 24 square inches of rust total or if the rust perforates the metal; the technician would not be able to install a new windshield nor would he be able to reinstall the old windshield. The vehicle would be left with no windshield at all and would need to be towed to a body shop. Rather than take that chance, the technician will stop all work when there is a strong indication of rust.I do apologize that you weren't made aware that the technician would be performing a thorough preinspection that would include pictures of the vehicle. This is a standard procedure not only for Safelite but for many other auto glass and auto repair facilities. This isn't meant to be an invasion of your privacy but a way to protect all parties in the unlikely event that there is new damage noticed after the work is completed. As stated previously, the pictures have been deleted from the technician's phone and were only of the areas of the vehicle showing rust. When you initially contacted Safelite, you provided your email address and agreed to receive emails about the glass damage. It would be impossible to list all the reasons why we wouldn't be able to perform a glass installation. There is a lot of information available to anyone at our website, including our warranty. The issue of rust is included under Exclusions in our warranty. The policy that Safelite has regarding rust may not be exactly the same as other auto glass companies. Our policy is based on our 69 years of auto glass installation as well as our desire to provide the most comprehensive warranty in the industry. We stand behind our technicians and our installations knowing that the safety of our customers and their families is of utmost importance.Again, I apologize that weren't able to perform your windshield replacement. I hope that this additional information has answered all your questions. If not, please feel free to contact our Executive Service team at ###-###-####.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.

[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] is not covering my claim. The Safelite technician at no point in time advised me to look over my vehicle or told me he didn't replace the hoodpins.  You pride this company to cover 100% of your worksmanship and it seems like false advertizement.  If your company did not come out to "fix" my vehicle this would have never happened.  At this point I tryed to fix it the easiest way and my insurance no longer will cover the negligence of your company.  I would like the car repaired at no cost to me.  I'm not asking for anything beside this cost which would be incredibly larger if it involved another motorist.  If you are willing to work this out then I will settle this dispute.  If you can not settle this I will bring it to court, ive already contacted a lawyer if need be.  Lets resolve this in the easiest manner possible and just fix my vehicle.

Dear Ms. [redacted],

I’m very sorry for the difficulty scheduling the windshield replacement for your 2007 Mercedes ML 350. I do show that we were able to install the windshield as you requested Monday August 8th in the morning. In addition, Safelite did absorb your $50 deductible as a...

courtesy.

I also show that we scheduled a warranty appointment for August 10th due to air noise. I hope that we were able to correct that. If you are still having issues, please feel free to contact our Executive Service team at ###-###-####. Safelite does appreciate your business.

I am rejecting this response because: THE SHOP  COULD NOT REPAIR THE TRUCK UNTIL YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOUR WORK AND IT TO YOU 5 DAY'S TO GET IT DONE RIGHT. IF THE SEAL WAS DRY ROTTEN THE WHEN I HAD THE WINDSHIELD PUT IN THE. SAFELITE SHOULD HAVE TOLD IT WAS BAD THEN AND  THE PROBLEM WAS IT WAS NOT INSTALLED RIGHT BACK IN 2013. AS FOR THE DOWN DOWN TIME. I  NEVER AGREED TO ONLY 1 WEEK.DERRICK JUST ASKED ME WHAT HE COULD DO FOR ME AND I SAID PAY THE DOWNTIME. I ALSO TOLD DERRICK I MADE A MISTAKE ON THE DOWN TIME AND IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 325.00 MORE THE WHAT I SUBMITTED TO HIM. PLUS I SENT DERRICK A E-MAIL SAYING I WOULD WAVE IT IF HE WOULD SUBMIT ANOTHER WEEK OF DOWN TIME
Regards, [redacted]

Dear Mr. [redacted],
Please feel free to stop into your local Safelite location anytime during business hours. If you would like to schedule an appointment, contact our Executive Service team at ###-###-####. The shop may be able to identify the manufacturer of the windshield that was installed. That's not information I can tell from the work order.

Dear Mr. [redacted], I’m very sorry that your initial appointment for a windshield replacement on your 1999 Dodge Pickup had to be rescheduled. I understand that you were out of town and not personally available at the time the installation occurred. Therefore, the attached preinspection noting the damage doesn’t have your signature but has a time stamp indicating the document was created and pictures were taken prior to the technician beginning the work. The pictures that our technician took clearly show that your dash was already damaged beyond the point of repair prior to the windshield being replaced. The dash was already brittle, cracked, and broken on both the driver side and passenger side. While we are not saying this happened, even if the damage worsened during the normal installation process, Safelite would not be responsible for the damage. The dash was in an unrepairable state prior to our work. It needed to be replaced because of the pre-existing damage. Safelite will not honor your request to pay in full or in part to replace your dash.

Dear Revdex.com,Thank you for investigating this matter further. I have attached the Safelite Auto Glass receipt and the auto body receipt for costs incurred to fix the damage to the car. I have attached photos from the auto body shop documenting the faulty windshield installation which caused water leaks...

into the car. I have sent two letters and all I have received from Safelite is the generic email included in the attachments. I followed the directions on the email and sent an email to the executive dispute team. No response.Thank you for your time.Sincerely,[redacted]

Dear Ms. [redacted],I'm very sorry that you had a water leak after we replaced the windshield of your 2013 VW Jetta. I understand that initially the Safelite location felt that the water leak wasn't due to our work. You have since been working with a member of our Social Media team and she has assured...

you that we will pay for the repairs to your vehicle. Our representative has already received the estimate and contacted the dealership to advise them we will be paying for the repairs once they are completed.Again, I apologize for the issues. I'm glad that our representative was able to assist you in resolving this. As soon as the work is completed, we will pay the vendor for the work. Thank you for your understanding and Safelite appreciates your business.

Dear Mr. [redacted],I’m sorry that you didn’t find our offer to pay for the reasonable cost of repairs to your 2007 [redacted] Vue satisfactory. You are asking for a payment of $1500 without any estimate or documentation to indicate what that would be for. If you don’t want Safelite involved in the repairs to your vehicle we would need you to provide a detailed estimate of the repairs, on the repair shop’s letterhead, for our review. We have already purchased the dash bezel to replace the damaged one. We have attempted to work with you to make the needed repairs to your vehicle at our expense. We will continue to do so if you will allow it. We would like to bring this to a reasonable and satisfactory resolution.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. The problem is that the company has not communicated with their collection agency the resolution so I continue to get letters. In accepting this solution I hope the company can close this out for good so I will not receive any communication from the company.I thank Revdex.com and the company for this resolution. I know the company is trying but they are not able to get their collection agency to stop sending me communication.
